Actifit Report 060925: Party Crashing

One of the cool things of the overpriced North American college experience is being able to crash parties and meet new people.

I've also had the pleasure of crashing a wedding simply because we randomly helped the brides family set up chairs for their event.

this morning

Birthday Parties & Reunions

I went to a birthday party yesterday. The park was a reservation park and all three pavilions were full from three different parties.

In fact, the whole parking area and grass were full of cars.

I was actually being antisocial from the party on the left.

The party in the right was hopping and there was another group of folks behind me.

I was sitting at a picnic table in the middle of all three parties, by myself, enjoying the beautiful weather and watching all the people just enjoying their events.

Luck Arrives

Greg came over from the party on the right and asked if there was smoking allowed in the park. I told him I didn't know for sure.

The table was so perfectly placed that you could hear the music from his party.

He asked if I minded if he smoked at my table. I laughed and told him I had no problem with it. It was just a cigarette so I didn't request a puff.

Anyway, we talked about Atlanta, Ohio State, Toledo, Gas Station Boner Pills, and traffic.

He brought me over a huge piece of perch with some hot sauce. (picture above) dels catering

I'm not sure if it was the conversation or the perceived rental payment for use of "my" picnic table, but that fish was delicious. Thanks Greg!

The parties all raged on for a couple hours. Everyone was playing volleyball, kickball, tug o war, nerf gun fights, sack races...

The party on the right even had a live band come in.

A great day at the park for all.
