Monomad Challenge: Jay & Jerah - Engagement Session

Hi again friends, I hope you guys are doing great and productive today! Another day to share with you another Black and White photos from my collection.

Last week, I just had fun shooting Jay and Jerah's pre-wedding session. Since they are both teachers, they wanted something simple yet relevant for their photos. After discussing their preferences, we decided to capture their interests and show off their love for one another in a few different locations.

I advised them to bring items that represented their hobbies and to dress in their preferred outfits for our first location. While Jerah wore a straightforward off-the-shoulder gown and brought her favorite book, Jay was dressed in his basketball gear and brought a basketball. We caught them enjoying a good time while showing their interests.

Then, we traveled to a remote resort where we took some lovely and enchanting photos of them both dressed up for the occasion. Their intimate moments together were nicely framed by the resort's serene surroundings.

We decided to have a little fun at the third place, so they both dressed in all-white attire and soaked their feet in the water next to a bridge. As the couple laughed and enjoyed each other's company, I managed to capture a candid and playful moment between them.

I suggested that before we wrapped up the shoot, I capture a photo of them on a bridge for our final location. The bridge made for a lovely and romantic backdrop, and I was able to get a gorgeous picture of the couple.

All in all, it was a pleasure working with Jay and Jerah, and I am extremely happy with the outcomes of their prenuptial photographs. Because the photographs perfectly captured their love for one another and their individual characteristics.
