In case you missed it...you can claim your favorite handle in X

When I was doing a research for creating my online account, I searched online and tried to figure out where I would be able to create the 'katerinaramm' account.

I was able to find it available on facebook, on hive etc - but on twitter (then) it was not.
Someone else was katerinaramm, so I had to make it katerinaramm1 and I used the same for Instagram.

Today I was very impressed to see on X that we can now explore and claim inactive X handles!

If you have a premium business account (which I guess more of us do not have), you have already access to it, but if you are just on premium, please see below!

With billions of users on X, your desired handle may have already been claimed when you joined.
The X Handle Marketplace is our first-of-its-kind platform for redistributing handles that are no longer in active use, but still attached to old accounts.

How many types of handle are there?
There two, priority and rare handles.

For the priority ones:

• Free to request for Premium+ and Premium Business subscribers.
• Often include full names, multi-word phrases, or alphanumeric combinations.
• If your request is approved, we will transfer the handle to you at no extra cost.
• If you cancel or downgrade your subscription, your old handle will return to your account after a 30-day grace period.

It could be your own name - for instance I requested katerinaramm and I am on the wait list.

Rare Handles

• Include short, generic, or culturally significant names.
• These handles are not available through standard requests.
• Acquired through:
• Public Drops (free, based on merit)
• Direct Purchases (pre-priced, invitation-only)

If you are a Premium+ or Premium Business subscriber, you can request a Priority Handle at no additional cost. As a matter of fact, X considers this as a benefit of our subscription.

Please note:

• Requests are usually reviewed within 3 business days.
• Not all requests will be approved.
• If declined, you may request another handle.
• Once a request is approved, your old handle is reserved and won't be given to anyone else.

Your followers, posts, and account settings remain unchanged during the switch.
If you cancel or downgrade your subscription after receiving a Priority Handle, your old handle will be restored.

I saw this today and I immediately tried to claim my normal handle (katerinaramm)
At the moment, this has been claimed in 2013 by someone has never created a post and potentially lost the account or never bothered again
