An accessory to combine

Hello creative friends.

I'm excited to share a new experience with everyone and this time, as in most of the creations, the protagonist is my daughter Amanda, hehehehe.

I tell you that a few weeks ago, Amanda received an invitation to participate in a meeting with some friends and the night before I chose her dress, realizing that I had no accessories of that color for her hair, so I searched in my magic box of reserves and fortunately I got materials to make her some simple but beautiful bows.

Here's how I made them...

Materials:

60 cm of ribbon.
90 cm of lace ribbon.
Decorative element.
Thread and needle.
Scissors.
Lighter.

Procedure:

Step 1.
I cut the ribbons into 15 cm parts and sealed the edges with the help of the Lighter.

Step 2.
I joined the edges using thread and needle to later fix the center.

Step 3.
I fixed two of the loops obtained from the previous step, sewing right in the center.

Step 4.
With the lace ribbon, I performed the previous procedure, this time, after joining the edges, I fixed the center trying to give volume to the loop; of these I made 2 for each loop.

Step 5.
I made the final loop by folding it in such a way that I obtained a kind of 8, I fixed the ends in the center and then joined it at the top.

Step 6.
I placed the decorative element in the center of the loops. I chose a yellow star to better match the dress.

Step 7.
I finished the loop by placing an elastic, to give a better result. I placed it using thread and needle, this will make it more resistant. I took special care of the esthetics, making sure that the thread was hidden.

Creating accessories for Amanda, I have understood two important things: the first is that I consider it more appropriate to use elastics instead of metal hooks, because in the games they can hurt themselves or other children.

And secondly, that by using thread and needle in the elaboration, they are more resistant and durable than using silicone.

It is always a pleasure for me to share these experiences with everyone.

Hola amigos creativos.

Me emociona compartir una nueva experiencia con todos y en esta ocasión, como en la mayoría de las creaciones, la protagonista es mi hija Amanda, jejeje.

Les cuento que hace unas semanas, Amanda recibió la invitación a participar en una reunión con unos amiguitos y la noche anterior escogí su vestido, percatándome de que no tenía accesorios de ese color para el cabello, de manera que busqué en mi caja mágica de reservas y afortunadamente conseguí materiales para hacerle unos sencillos pero bonitos lazos.

Aquí les cuento cómo los realicé...

Materiales:

60 cm de cinta.
90 cm de cinta de encaje.
Elemento decorativo.
Hilo y aguja.
Tijera.
Yesquero.

Procedimiento

Paso 1.
Corté las cintas en partes de 15 cm y sellé los bordes con ayuda del yesquero.

Paso 2.
Uní los bordes usando hilo y aguja para posteriormente fijar el centro.

Paso 3.
Fijé dos de los bucles obtenidos del paso anterior, cociendo justo en el centro.

Paso 4.
Con la cinta de encajes, realicé el procedimiento anterior, esta vez, luego de unir los bordes, fijé el centro procurando dar volumen al bucle; de estos elaboré 2 para cada lazo.

Paso 5.
El bucle final lo elaboré doblando de tal manera que obtuve una especie de 8, fijé las puntas en el centro y luego uní este en la parte superior.

Paso 6.
Coloqué en el centro de los bucles el elemento decorativo. Yo elegí una estrella amarilla para combinar mejor con el vestido.

Paso 7.
Finalicé el lazo colocando un elástico, para dar un mejor resultado. Lo coloqué usando hilo y aguja, esto lo hará más resistente. Cuidé especialmente la estética, procurando que el hilo quedara oculto.

Creando accesorios para Amanda, he comprendido dos cosas importantes: la primera, es que considero más adecuado usar elásticos en lugar de los ganchos metálicos, ya que en los juegos se pueden lastimar o lastimar a otros niños.

Y en segundo lugar, que al usar hilo y aguja en la elaboración, son más resistentes y duraderos que usando silicona.

Para mí siempre es grato compartir estas experiencias con todos.
