In part 2, we are talking a look at three more archons representing the dwarves, orcs and elves, three classic races in fantasy, now referred to as Bloodlines. These also represent the middle of the pack in terms of grades. In the final part, we will look at the two best grades.

Fithe Bladestone / Rare Fire / Grade: B

Fithe Bladestone is a four mana fire archon who is a Dwarf. He grants the entire team +2 armor but additionally provides Void to Dwarves. He can also pull Dwarves from other splinters into the Fire team, which is especially powerful in the Wild format. The armor buff is strong, making this card something of a Kelya, but the Void can be a poisoned gift in the new meta, since you will take more damage if hit by a Relentless Strike, even if it is not a magical attack. There are also few off splinter dwarves that Fithe Bladestone could bring into battle, which is a shame. This is why I consider him the worst of the five non-dragon summoners, although he is still very solid.

Gorgug the Endless / Rare Water / Grade: B+

Gorgug the Endless is the Orc Archon, and he is peculiar being on the Water element. He debuffs the enemy team for -1 ranged attack, and also gives Orcs Enrage, which is an awesome ability for any melee unit, not so much for other unit types. This archon's biggest selling point is bringing some very powerful orcs from other elements and giving them Enrage. The -1 ranged is an added bonus, but it is probably the weakest of the "main" archon abilities in the set. This card can be devastating in Wild, but also in the modern format with units like Thragha and Night Stalker to bring on the Water team.

Kaylia Silverleaf / Rare Earth / Grade: A-

Kaylia Silverleaf is the Elf Archon, and she predictably belongs to the Earth element. She gives a -1 magic debuff to the opponents, while buffing every Elf with the Execute ability. The magic debuff is better than the ranged one, but is still situational. This makes her comparable to Thaddius Brood, but where she really shines is in the Bloodline Dominion. Execute is a very potent ability to give to high damage cards, but this archon's biggest strength is in drawing in some very powerful elves from other elements, especially some dragon ones. Oshuur Constantia is a dragon promo card, but she is also an Elf, and you can bring her to the Earth element now with Kaylia. Aranduriel is another dragon Elf card that feels overpowered compared to the average Earth unit. Every element has elves to choose from, so you will have tons of good options to build a team.
