Queridos Hivers, debo decir que también me subyugó el subconsciente el tacón rojo. Qué buena esta propuesta de @emiliorios, porque la verdad es que, si alguien me hubiese dicho que entre una hermosa niña con un ramo de flores, una vista del mar que tanto me apasiona y un tacón rojo, yo iba a elegir la última imagen, no lo hubiera creído. O sea, los tacones nunca han sido para mí, mucho menos los zapatos rojos y todavía menos los calzados llamativos.
Ello me lleva a preguntarme por qué seduce mi mente este zapato. ¿Será que prima más en mí la energía femenina que la masculina por estos días? Ah, ni siquiera lo creo.
Dice @emiliorios que esta técnica de la libre asociación de ideas es muy eficaz para diagnosticar determinados estados clínicos. Pues me sumo a la iniciativa y me brindo como material de estudio. Eso sí, me encantará recibir recomendaciones para mejorar mi estado de salud mental.
El tacón rojo lo veo como algo lejano a mí, pero quizás es un deseo, un anhelo profundo que no he logrado canalizar. Será que me siento reprimida hasta cierto punto porque la vida, la sociedad, las reglas familiares te obligan a desempeñar determinados papeles como mujer y te censuran cuando no los cumples cabalmente. Ahora las nenas llevan tacones y los pediatras advierten sobre los daños para la salud. Cuando yo era niña, esto era impensable. Las niñas calzábamos los tacones de nuestras madres en los juegos, a veces bajo los regaños. Pero si cargábamos la muñeca, la paseábamos en un cochecito, la alimentábamos y le brindábamos abrigo, entonces a nadie le llamaba la atención. Poco a poco la niña iba aprendiendo qué se esperaría de ella y cuál sería su rol social en la adultez.
Las niñas se sientan correctamente, las niñas no alzan la voz, las niñas no juegan de mano con varones, las niñas no se sientan en las piernas de los hombres… Todavía somos educadas para un día convertirnos en excelentes madres, esposas, amas de casa, hijas, cocineras… El hombre es el proveedor; la mujer, quien le brinda un hogar. Aún en nuestros días algunas preferimos pasar inadvertidas, aunque tengamos una carrera profesional y con frecuencia nuestros ingresos resulten más altos que el de los caballeros.
Los tacones rojos, entonces, son un grito de independencia, una ruptura con viejos y anquilosados cánones, con el machismo ortodoxo y colonizador. Los tacones rojos sacan a la mujer que llevamos dentro. Sí, esa mujer que puede entregarse a los placeres de la vida, que tiene anhelos, sueños, ganas de hacer. Los tacones rojos dicen “abajo la sumisión y el patriarcado”. No somos iguales físicamente, pero todos somos seres humanos. La mujer tiene derecho al descanso, a sentarse a la mesa para degustar lo que alguien más en el hogar cocinó, a levantar las piernas mientras otra persona realiza la limpieza.
Nací mujer, pero llegué al mundo sin un delantal puesto. El delantal lo impuso la sociedad. Los hijos tienen un padre que muchas veces ha presionado para tener el hijo. La mujer no se autofecunda y es inaceptable que sobre ella (sobre nosotras) recaiga el mayor peso de la responsabilidad.
Llegado a este punto les aconsejo a los hombres que no intenten hacerme cambiar de opinión porque ese tacón rojo ha sacado todo mi feminismo a flor de piel y, ya saben, acepté ser parte del experimento.

Dear Hivers, I must say that the red heel also captivated my subconscious. How wonderful this suggestion from @emiliorios is, because the truth is, if someone had told me that between a beautiful girl with a bouquet of flowers, a view of the sea that I love so much, and a red heel, I would choose the latter image, I wouldn't have believed them. I mean, heels have never been for me, much less red shoes, and even less flashy footwear.
This leads me to wonder why this shoe seduces my mind. Could it be that feminine energy prevails more in me than masculine these days? Oh, I don't even believe it. @emiliorios says that this technique of free association of ideas is very effective for diagnosing certain clinical conditions. So I'm joining the initiative and offering myself as study material. Of course, I'd love to receive recommendations to improve my mental health.
I see the red heel as something distant from me, but perhaps it's a desire, a deep longing that I haven't been able to channel. Maybe I feel repressed to a certain extent because life, society, and family rules force you to play certain roles as a woman and censure you when you don't fully fulfill them. Nowadays, girls wear heels, and pediatricians warn about the health risks. When I was a child, this was unthinkable. We girls wore our mothers' heels while playing, sometimes under scolding. But if we carried the doll, pushed it in a stroller, fed it, and sheltered it, then no one paid any attention. Little by little, the girl learned what would be expected of her and what her social role would be in adulthood.
Girls sit properly, girls don't raise their voices, girls don't play handball with boys, girls don't sit on men's laps... We are still trained to one day become excellent mothers, wives, homemakers, daughters, cooks... The man is the provider; the woman, the one who provides a home. Even today, some of us prefer to go unnoticed, even if we have professional careers and often earn more than men.
Red heels, then, are a cry for independence, a break with old and rigid canons, with orthodox and colonizing machismo. Red heels bring out the woman within us. Yes, that woman who can surrender to life's pleasures, who has yearnings, dreams, and a will to do. Red heels say "down with submission and patriarchy." We are not physically equal, but we are all human beings. Women have the right to rest, to sit at the table to enjoy what someone else in the home cooked, to lift their legs while someone else cleans up.
I was born a woman, but I came into the world without an apron on. The apron was imposed by society. Children have a father who has often pressured them to have a child. Women do not self-fertilize, and it is unacceptable that the greatest burden of responsibility falls on them (on us).
At this point, I advise men not to try to change my mind because that red heel has brought out all my feminism, and, you know, I agreed to be part of the experiment.
