Online meetings and offline meetings both have their advantage and disadvantages. Online meetings are super convenient, saves time, and can be more flexible too. Sometimes tech issues, can be a setback. We often see a situation where more than 40 people will join in online meeting but 10 people will stay till the end due to either low data or poor network.

But what about offline meetings? Offline meetings, on the other hand, offer more personal connection, better nonverbal cues and more importantly, more effective for building relationships.

Sometime ago, I was a bit discourage, I felt like giving up on hive until @fokusnow hosted a hive-meetup. I made out time to attend and guess what? That's was a turning point to me on this platform. I had to work on myself, my negative thoughts and seek for more strategies to reach my goals as a hiver.

Seeing people coming down all the way from uyo to Aba for the hive meetup encouraged me to put more efforts. Besides nothing good comes easy.

One thing I observed during the meet up is the unity. Friends helping each other reach there goal as a hiver. I think that's was the first day I met @luchyl she was very friendly and helped me on many things. She asked me to feel free and ask questions and she was calm enough to provide answers to my questions.

After listening to @fokusnow and his team's pep talk, I was so encouraged and started to look for areas to up my games. I don't think online meetings can have such impact. With time, I started telling friends about hive and @russselkalu24 and @perez was able to join us.

More reasons why you don't need to miss hive meetup.

In-person interactions can be really powerful for motivation and connection. There's something
being in the same physical space that can make the experience feel more personal and impactful. It gives you the boost you needed to tackle tasks!
