Hive Fest Day 2 - tiring but rewarding

We kicked off Day 2 of HiveFest at Meštrović Gallery, it's a museum dedicated to a famous local sculptor of the same name. The location is opposite the sea and a short walk to the beach, what a great way to start the conference.
I took a peak inside the conference tent when I arrived. It was beautiful and they set it up with one of the sculptures in the centre. That was a nice touch. I could imagine having a wedding here, it'd be so magical.
The conference was opened by @roelandp, and @lordbutterfly our resident Hivean who organised this year's conference. And he's done a sterling job. Hat's off to him.
As usual, it's always good to hear about the projects and latest developments on Hive. That's the other great thing about attending Hivefest. I took some photos of a few of the presentations. The conference tent, although aesthetically very nice, quickly turned into a summer greenhouse, probably not the best to sit in at daytime in this weather.
I realise I didn't take many photos this year. Most of the time was spent mingling with people, that's the best part. The only few decent photos I have are this one of lunch, yes I had to slip some food in. And the view from outside the restaurant where we had our gala dinner. The dinner was the best out of the three Fest I've been to, so good that I forgot to take any photos of the actual meal.
It was a tiring but very rewarding day at HiveFest. Seeing many people again. They're like old friends now even though it's only the third time I've seen them. And of course, meeting new people, some who I know on chain and some new names that I haven't come across before. And finally, let me show you my new cool hoodie from @worldmappin. Thanks team!!!
We still have a few more events this week. I must remember to take more of photos and spam you with them because I know people like to see who's who even when they can't meeting person.
