Eating might be a little luxury in my house but we appreciate every bit of it that comes our way, even if it's once a day and we especially thank God when it's up to two.

My siblings and I mostly take turns to prepare the meal that our parents provide and we are happy to serve, although you have to serve a whole lot of children plus the parents because we are many at home.

Here below goes one of my favorite meals, I prepared it for my family...

Rice and Stew with beans

This is rice, beans and stew combination. From the plates below you can see that there are a lot of humans at home, but you see that's not all there is, there are more people who didn't partake of this food because they weren't home

Rice and stew is a very popular Nigerian dish that is loved by everyone, though most people cool it only on Sundays because they feel Sunday is a special day, and for visitors too, thus they pass it with a specially made Rice and Stew.

Porridge plantain

Another meal that we enjoy is porridge plantain. Yes we love the dish but as it stands plantain is very costly so we don't mostly get plantain meal at home. So we treasure it anytime we see it and we thank God

Porridge plantain is another dish in Nigeria that is given so much attention, many love it, it is mostly used in traditional occasions like weddings. Porridge plantain could even attract guests to a wedding

Don't look at the picture above and think that we don't eat with spoon o 🙃. We use spoons to eat porridge but sometimes a meal eaten with hands is the sweetest 😁, you may not believe me..

Nigerian Jollof rice

Mmm, here comes the most favorite companion for many, jollof rice.
This is the most common and less expensive to cook rice in Nigeria

The Nigerian Jollof rice is known to be the best in Africa, but Ghanians wil still argue 🙃😁.
The rice can be eaten with beans, soy bean flour, banana, papaya, fried plantain and many may have something else to eat it with, Nigeria is quite diverse...

The banana with the jollof gives it a very nice taste and I love it so much.
