Rain and Ramadan
It is thanks to Allah (SWT) that when the month of Ramadan begins, He showers His mercy and blessings, including rain. This is a special blessing from Allah, which begins during these days. We can feel that, unlike other months, when it doesn't rain in Pakistan, as soon as Ramadan starts, Allah sends down rain. This is a huge blessing from Allah. Sometimes I think about how sinful we are and how many sins we have, yet how merciful and kind our Lord is, showing us so much compassion.

One night, while I was sleeping, I suddenly heard the sound of rain. This was not just any rain, it was very heavy, and there were hailstones as well. It was not a destructive rain but a special blessing from Allah that brought forth much greenery on the earth. The rain continued until morning, and I felt so happy seeing it. Nowadays, rain is rare in Pakistan, and either it’s because of our sins or perhaps Allah is displeased with us. I pray that Allah does not become angry with us. Indeed, we are sinners, and our sins are many.

There are also many poor people who do not have enough food and water, and during the heat, they have nothing to cover themselves. I have seen some poor people sleeping under the shade of trees, lying there and sleeping soundly. This too is a gift from Allah, for He grants them peaceful sleep, which not everyone is fortunate to experience.

I pray that Allah continues to have mercy on our country. May the rains keep coming, and may the land remain green, as He is the best of providers.
