My Actifit Report Card: July 6 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was very hot, and super humid, 95%+, very muggy! But we were so happy to find Le Chat in the yard, we had to hang out with her of course. I guess there was much less fireworks than the previous days.

Kaia was also very happy to find her sister.

The forecast mentioned possible extreme storms, but it was hard to believe with such a blue sky.

We made the effort for a few short walks, especially behind the front yard.

The heat wasn't going to stop Kaia from exploring.

Although I would have preferred to chill with Le Chat, it was time for yard work. I couldn't skip it this time.

When it started raining lightly (forecast was actually quite accurate), I thought I wouldn't have time to finish. But it stayed very light for quite a while, just long enough for me to finish mowing the entire yard. Perfect timing because five minutes later, it was heavy. Not the very strong storms from the forecast, but definitely way too heavy to stay out.

We had plenty to do inside as well, so it wasn't a problem. And later when the weather changed again, we started a real walk. Beautiful clouds formation were illuminated by the first golden hour lights.

On the way, we met this cat again. It seems to know the neighborhood very well, because it wasn't the same place we saw it the first time. I thought I knew which house it called home, I'm not sure anymore.

We didn't ask it, we kept going as I wanted to catch more sunset lights.

Nothing new in the forest, just way too many mosquitoes everywhere. They already bite you if you walk fast, but if you stop, even just a few seconds for a photo, it's just crazy!

Kaia was slow to follow, unlike earlier, the heat really affected her this time

She barely reacted to these deer we met a few blocks from home.

And that was it for the day. I wasn't sure I could pass the bar again for #poprzeczka, but it seems yard work combined with a forest walk was more than enough. I haven't checked yet how the other two remaining players did, but I'm already very happy with my performance in the June session.
