My Actifit Report Card: July 18 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Friday weather was beautiful with plenty of sun but much less hot than it's been. But as often, I wasn't really efficient during the day, especially at work, so we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have. A couple of people stopped by because they saw the big branches that fell in the yard a few weeks ago and wanted to offer their services to take care of it. One of them mentioned the tree also didn't really look healthy, especially with that big hole left by what's fallen, and indeed it may be a good idea to completely cut it down. I need to make a decision before leaving for my trip.

In spite of the inefficiency of the day, we managed to start our daily walk before the sun was completely gone.

Le Chat didn't want to join us behind the front yard, so we quickly went towards the forest.

As usual, Kaia enjoyed her off-leash time so much, she was just a blur on most of my photos.

Since we went inside the forest first, I thought we missed the sunset, but we did catch the last colors.

As often, Kaia took the lead on our last loop in the forest, she's always the fastest on that part.

And maybe she knew it was Caturday because Le Chat finally showed up a few hours later and stayed for a few minutes. She's always on the move these days, so it was a bit unusual.

Once again, even with a routine day, apparently slow, final step count wasn't bad at all, and for sure well above the bar for #poprzeczka competition. Let's see if I can stay in until at least my trip at the end of the month.
