This is one of the green vegetables that is an ancient one that also come informs of attachment to other unwanted plants or medicinal plants. Sometimes when you Cultivate this green vegetable plant through stem, it may take a while before it starts to germinate but definitely it will surely survive. I am saying this because I have cultivated series of practical experiment on it. And the outcome was extremely explainable. And that is why I am saying this out of practical experience. Whenever I am saying one thing or the other it has passed through a lot of research, practical experiment on the field.

This particular green vegetable is also ancient in the sense that those that are very old will know this green vegetable even from a very far distance. This is because it has it unique and special name it is been called. 99 Vegetable, Efo Rome, Iyana paja. These are some of the names that is being called in Yoruba language. When you call it some of us new age generation may know it. So this is how it looks.

When you cultivate the stem, it always come with other attachment in the sense that. you will equally see some other plants growing with it. Although it is easy to eradicate. But even when you eradicate it, it will surely grow back. So we need to emphasize and check on this green vegetable.

• On the other hand even this unwanted plant is also medicine. It is a very good herb, for curing so many types of illness. I got to know this from my in-law. The great grandma. She actually explained how these are wanted plants which is also useful to human being how to use it. But we are not talking about this at the moment.

This Rome vegetable, is very strong and special. I have consumed with several times and I also do always. It is very hard when eating it. But it has some other ways of preparation or cooking. When you want to fetch it you need to wear a cover glove, or you can use your hand though it is not really advisable. So it must be properly collected and you need to prepare it accordingly with so many spices and other ingredients.

The vegetable is very positive in response to rainy season and dry season because this are the two seasons we have in Nigeria. But if care is not taking and you do not manage this vegetable very well it may die. The most cultivated means, is through stem cutting, although it has flowers but it cannot grow through this except you plant the stem.
