Hello everyone, today I'm taking you to another place in Rome. This place is called Piazza Navona, a prominent public square in Rome, Italy. Formerly an ancient Roman amphitheater, it was built in the 1st century. It has an oval shape, similar to a modern stadium.

At present, the square is a beautiful tourist attraction filled with Baroque architecture. Fountain of the Four Rivers stands at its center.Originally a stadium built by Emperor Mithian in 86 AD for athletic competitions, it was a place where ancient Romans could come to watch reenactments of naval battles.

We visited in early April, and the weather was pleasantly cool, neither too hot nor too cold. This famous square, known as the Piazza Navona, is very popular in the capital. It's still packed with tourists, and we visited in the afternoon, which was no surprise.

The prominent fountain in the center of the square is the Fountain of the Four Rivers, a beautiful structure located near a Baroque church.

The obelisk, imported from Egypt, stands at its center. The fountain also visited with statues representing the major rivers of the four continents.

Walking around, the area is lined with shops and people selling artwork from independent artists. Restaurants and cafes surround the area.

This square is said to be the most vibrant and colorful of Rome, with its surroundings dotted with colorful buildings and shops.

On the other side, you'll find a fountain, located just off the O Column and the Fountain of the Great Water. We couldn't get inside because it was so crowded, so we walked to the other side, where there was also a fountain.

This one is smaller, but it's a great place to take photos. From this angle, you can see the Burg and the cathedral in the background.

We spent some time in this square, taking photos, but it was very crowded, as it's a famous tourist attraction, so people were interested.

And here are some photos of Piazza Navona, a beautiful piece of historic architecture in Rome, Italy. I hope you enjoy this post. Thank you for following and have a great day.
