Huh, after three or four days of intense research and stress, finally it's done. Not completely, but halfway, the PoC shows that the plan is working and can be executed as we want. It's not about celebrating, it's about moving the mountain and tasting the positive effect that motivates and cheers me to take on more intensive tasks like this. Leveling up.
So the thing is, in my workplace, one of my tasks was to handle something very, very important for the whole infrastructure or product. You can say that we are building for the industry. We were facing lots of problems due to this issue; it was the root of many issues that were constantly keeping us busy on running here and there to solve the sparkled issues. Like today, we faced this, so the developer got engaged on this, another day, something else broke, so another got hooked, sometimes I may get hooked to research on changing the architecture, or so and many like this. Somehow, we detected the ultimate problem, it's like the root that requires heavy workflow and changes, and so the task was heavy.

While engaging with this one, I was stuck in the middle, like eliminating things from where we extract info, but we need info; even without eliminating, we won't be able to address the issue. It was so contradictory that no logic was working, even if we came up with a solution that wasn't working due to the limitations of the infrastructure. It took me three days straight to go through lots of trial and error, researching things here and there, and after poking around on and on, I finally got something meaningful.
You know what, the solution was right beneath our noses, like it was always there in front of us, but we couldn't detect that path and were trying to do it the hard way. There were other reasons, though, but things got sorted; that's what the fact is. Well, it's not done yet, but the PoC is done, I mean, the working logic is discovered, will be working on the process of implementation as the mountain is moved.
I do remember myself staying engaged and busy with tiny tasks, quick-fix type things, doing lots of stuff throughout the day. Like these big tasks, I used to get chunks to research on and report. Those were very stressful and less impactful. Well, the thing is that those were like the pillars; now, getting done with the big stuff. That's how we grow, right? Now that I have taken on the big tasks on my account, passed down the tiny ones to others, distributed them amongst teammates, and I'm solely doing this. This is how we grow, right? Learn through the chunks and aim for the bigger ones. My responsibilities are growing as my immediate senior is leaving us soon for a better opportunity that he got, so am gonna take care of them as well.
These are some positive signs that I'm growing. Hopefully, there will be more to take in under my supervision and execute. Opportunities are endless, only I need to be consistent, and the rest is on the Almighty Allah to bless.
