Empathy saves

You have probably heard the expression that walls have ears...
But what about eyes? Do walls have them?
Or mouths?
Great news - today you will see for yourself whether walls have eyes and mouths if you decide to take a look at this post. 😁
Lately, I have been seeing a lot of cats - but drawn on walls. We already saw that funny look of the cat from Malaga:
! [meow] https://images.hive.blog/0x0/
...but look - other kitties have appeared too.
Lourdes and Chorri left their paw prints on the wall of a demolished building. It was impossible not to spot their graceful gaze.

She reminds me of one of my cats, my favourite that I had when I was a child.

Adopt - we can read on the pendant of the green-eyed kitten's collar.

Our encounters with cats do not end here. Although, we have cats of another kind in the next section of this little StreetArt contribution. A cat coming to this wall from the big screen. Sylvester the Cat.

I hope he will behave and not catch the little yellow birdie, Tweety. 😍

These characters live in a nice neighbourhood; I found it a bit strange to see graffiti or murals on this street, actually on the wall by a roundabout. A shame I don't know this character...

... nor these, but I do recognize the last one, Wally Gator. 🐊

A funny one 😆
The other day we went to return to the shop the trainers that were small, and on the way home we passed by a skate park. There were some murals on the wall, not too interesting, but this one was cool to me because it was actually a hole, a recess in the wall that was turned into a mouth. A creative idea from someone who saw a recess and imagined how it could be turned into something else, into something interesting. At least I think that is how this character was born.

We already mentioned cats, eyes, mouths... what about movies?
In a square in the city centre, I saw a tribute to these famous actors from classic Spanish cinema. It seems that this was a cinema for a few decades, but after closing it the new owners of the establishment (which is now a tobacco shop on the other side) paid tribute to these actors. They are Sara Montiel, Paco Rabal and Paco Martínez Soria.

And I kept this finding for the end. It is not a visually attractive mural but the message it brings is quite important. I saw it in Valencia, though the author, Untonga (Gastón Rosa) is Uruguayan. His works represent graves with words, phrases and motivational messages.
As it is in Spanish, a translation to English would come in handy for those who wouldn't understand the Spanish words. Here it comes.
Empathy saves

La empatía salva vidas, situaciones, ballenas, mares, romances, deseos, pensamientos, hogares, familias, amigos, ideas, abejas, ciclistas, peatones, poesías, besos, conversaciones, abrazos, desayunos, panaderías, empresas, canciones, libros, recetas, clientes, plantas, selvas, infinitamente. Te salva a vos y a todo lo que se te cruce y eso es un montón.
Empathy saves lives, situations, whales, seas, romances, desires, thoughts, homes, families, friends, ideas, bees, cyclists, pedestrians, poems, kisses, conversations, hugs, breakfasts, bakeries, companies, songs, books, recipes, clients, plants, jungles, infinitely. It saves you and everything that comes your way and that is a lot.
