Hello #Needleworkmonday. On Tuesday, I went to an Asian market very early in the morning and saw some Pointer brand yarn. It looked like a fluffy, new yarn, so I decided to buy four skeins, even though they were a little expensive. Then at home, thinking about what to do with that yarn, I decided to make a hat, at first a small one to give to a newborn baby, but I wasn't convinced by the color, so I started knitting one for a teenager. I looked in my files for a chart for making a hat. Here are some details about how I made it.

Luego en casa, pensando que hacer con ese hilo, decidí hacer un gorro, en primer momento uno pequeño para obsequiar a un bebé recién nacido, pero el color no me convenció, y comencé a tejer uno para adolescente. Busque en mis archivos una tabla para hacer gorro. Paso a dar algunos detalles de su elaboración.

Light blue and black yarn.

R5: 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.

R7: 1 dc in each space, repeat, sl st.
I measured 9 cm with the tape measure.

Body

R8-R10: Repeat R7.
R11-R15: Crochet the letters HIVE in black, repeat R7.
R16: Blue, repeat R7.
R17: Black, repeat R7. Tie off, cut, and hide the thread.

Using a tape measure, I measured:
Body height: 13 cm.
Total height: 21 cm.
Circumference: 52 cm.

I made this hat in one day, that is, in my spare time between household chores. The yarn is a bit thick, and with the right needle, everything turned out as I wanted, until I decided to make the word Hive. I looked for a grid in my file and inserted the black yarn, following the high points to form that word. I liked the final result. This is the first time I've written about knitting on a hat.

Este gorro lo hice en un día, es decir, en los ratos libres entre las actividades del hogar. El hilo es un poco grueso y con la aguja debida todo salió como quería, hasta que se me ocurrió hacer la palabra Hive, busque una cuadrícula en mi archivo e inserté el hilo negro, según los puntos altos para formar dicha palabra. Me gustó el resultado final. Primera vez que escribo sobre el tejido en un gorro.
