I have been holding on to my sentiments on the market but now it's getting nerve wrecking. The fall just does not seem to stop. Altcoins are losing it's value and I am wondering how long it's going to take for everything to bounce back, a year, two or another 4 to 5 years...phewww. Few weeks back there was this blood bath in the market and from there on it just continues with new lows. ETH goes down below 3k, and Solana has lot it's value by 50%.

There are so many speculations that it's really getting confusing. Some Analysts say that the bull run is already over, some say it's going to be a long cycle and the bull run has not yet started. So, when does it start? If the bull run is already over, then we barely saw any good price hike in Altcoins. Hive touched .55, that's been the highest in this cycle, compared to 3$+ in the last one. I personally feel that it's not over, but these daily falls does make me nervous, and I keep wondering when does the flip happen, and how low can it go.

There have been lot of learnings for me in this cycle and I realize that with every pump that comes along the way, I need to sell and buy back at dips. My strategy since the past 5 years have been to keep holding it and wait for the peak hike to sell, which I believe now is wrong. But at this point of time I cannot do anything, I cannot sell at these prices, so the only option I have is to hold on it. Right now the situation is, it bounces back a bit and then it goes down more.

From Jan 2026 onwards even for Hive I am planning a strategy. Whatever balance I have I am not going to touch it, but whatever I earn during the month, I am going to en cash 50% of it on monthly basis then be it whatever price is there. I can invest that money in some other source outside of crypto, that way I feel little secured of the earnings. Honestly it's been 7.5 years and I have yet not enjoyed the fruits of my labor. Some years back, I withdrew some Hive and converted it to ETH and ADA. So it's like all still in Crypto and I have not encasheda single penny of my earning. I think it's high time I get real money from my efforts. While I keep my stake active, I can always take out some part of it.

Let's see what 2026 brings in for all of us crypto lovers.
