Have you ever had to put your trust in complete strangers and they let you down?

I've had that experience too many times, maybe too many times. For me, teamwork has become a running joke in society. .simply no one wants to cooperate with a cause even if it benefits you, because people don't act, they speculate "Someone else will take care of this issue ” but the bad thing is that if we all agree on the same idea, we relapse into complete inaction.

Recently, in a college class, I had to team up with some classmates to make a presentation. My friends left me to my fate, I don't resent them for that, but I keep it in mind, I had to get together with 2 complete strangers with whom it was impossible to establish a good communication (and I say that literally because they didn't answer my text messages) that made it impossible to agree on how to make the presentation, not only they didn't communicate, they did what they wanted as if they didn't care at all.

When the day of the activity arrived, as expected, we were not prepared and it seemed that I was the only one who cared about the grade of the project. Luckily, the teacher postponed the presentation for another day.

I took that opportunity to change teams, or rather, change partners. I didn't have many options in my favor, most of my teammates already had an established group, so I talked to two random people and to my misfortune: Those individuals were useless.

I think the substitutes were exactly the same as the originals, though maybe I'm exaggerating, the new folks meant well, they made a horrendous laminate for the presentation and made the effort to study what they had to say. But still, it was the worst presentation I have ever participated in.

it is better to work alone than in bad company.
