Postcards from a Broken Soul: Beauty in Life is Strange: True Colors

How's your week going, Gaming Photography friends? Welcome back to my post. Today I'm sharing with you a very emotional game, which, although I wasn't convinced by the gameplay because I had already tried other installments that I consider better, I enjoyed immensely.
Life is Strange True Colors is a graphic adventure game that is already well known by the community, as its first game introduced a very interesting mechanic for the multiple-choice game genre: you could go back in time to make different decisions. In this game, the mechanic has changed, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
What I didn't like about this installment is that they've invested a lot of money in the visuals, but in terms of story and gameplay, they've fallen way behind. However, as I mentioned, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.
This title is the fifth game in the franchise and features Alex Chen, a 21-year-old girl who, after an extremely difficult childhood, reunites with her older brother Gabe. Alex has a supernatural ability, which I would call psychic empathy, that allows her to perceive the emotions of the people around her by visualizing them as auras.
Once you are released onto the map as a player, you can appreciate the beautiful surroundings, the enormous mountains in the background, the trees, plants, and flowers that cover the entire area, and the old architecture of the buildings, but with their modern style and charm complemented by the lighting. I must say that each scene is simply a wallpaper that any of you would want.
I love Alex's moments of solitude and reflection. There are specific points in the game where we can take a moment to understand how she feels, what conclusions she draws, and how she tries to find a way to cope with or overcome her problems. All of these moments are accompanied by dreamlike scenes that I didn't hesitate to capture and treasure so I could share them here with you.
I really hope you enjoyed these landscapes as much as I did. I also hope to continue bringing you more interesting posts and photos so we can discuss them. I'm Nitsu, thank you very much for your support, and see you next time.
