Sundays are days for having fun, and although I'm not really into plans that involve swimming pools because I don't really like them very much, my dad convinced me to go to a pool party with all my family members, my parents, siblings, and the girls, to get together with some of our close relatives, cousins, and uncles who are still in the country.
The girls were very excited to see their cousins and, of course, to play with them in the pool. I stayed with them the whole time because they don't know how to swim yet and stayed in the pool in their floats for their safety and to avoid any accidents.
At noon, after having fun for several hours in the pool, my aunts called us for lunch. We enjoyed a rib soup, which was delicious. The downside of this meal was that I had to have three bowls of soup to feel full. Then we rested for a while so we could go back into the pool.
We ate a lot for the rest of the afternoon. I don't know why being in a pool makes you so hungry, but snacks like tequeños and pastries were the hit of the moment, although the corn, chicken, and antipasto dips with crackers were delicious, and I couldn't stop eating them. Their flavor was incredible.
To end our family Sunday, we took a photo to immortalize this moment. More than just a dip in the pool, it is a great opportunity to enjoy life, because today we are living in the company of our loved ones, and tomorrow we know, so we must enjoy the here and now.

Los domingos son días para divertirse y aunque no soy mucho de asistir a planes que incluyan piscina, porque la verdad no me gustan mucho, pero después de que mi papá me convenciera, fuimos a una piscinada con todos los miembros de mi familia, mis padres, hermanos y las niñas a juntarnos con algunos de nuestros parientes cercanos, primos y tíos, que todavía se encuentran en el país.
Las niñas estaban muy emocionadas de ver a sus primas y de porsupuesto poder jugar con ellas en la piscina, yo las acompañe en todo momento porque aún no saben nadar y se mantenían en la piscina dentro de sus flotadores para su mayor seguridad y evitar algún accidente.
Al mediodía, después de divertirnos varias horas en la piscina, nos llamaron mis tías para almorzar disfrutamos de una sopa de costilla, que estaba buenísima, lo malo de esta comida es que tuve que tomar tres tazas de sopa para poder llenarme, luego reposamos un rato para poder ingresar de nuevo a la piscina.
Durante el resto de la tarde comimos muchísimo, no se porque estar en una piscina produce tanta hambre, los pasapalos como los tequeños y pasteles fueron la sensación del momento, aunque las salsas de maíz, pollo y antipasto con galletas estaban riquísimas y no podía parar de comerlos, su sabor era delirante.
Para finalizar nuestro domingo familiar, tomamos una foto para inmortalizar este momento, más que una simple piscinada es una grandiosa ocasión para disfrutar de la vida, porque hoy estamos viviendo en compañía de nuestro seres queridos y mañana lo sabemos, por eso hay gozar el aquí y el ahora.
