I don't know if it is celebrated in your country but here in Italy August 15th is a national holiday dedicated to the Virgin Mary and for years used by families to have big lunches and trips. We didn't have any great ideas but luckily a friend called us to encourage us to join her and other people, including two of my husband's colleagues, for a trip to the Pistoia mountains, and it was from there that we made various stops around the mountains. We found ourselves in a well-known place in the mountains, the lake of the suspension bridge, the suspension bridge is an attraction located in San Marcello, a well-known mountain resort, this bridge is about one hundred meters long and stands out at 60 meters high, below of it there is a valley with a delightful lake that is very cool in summer, it is about an hour from our house. We left around mid-afternoon and I took some photos of the beautiful view along the road, we arrived at the lake and had an aperitif with friends in the bar next to the lake, a delightful place, all in typical mountain wood, we are we were in good company and we laughed seeing the waiters playing water balloons, none of us wanted to go up on the bridge, we are all cowards but we took photos of those who climbed on, brave ones!

No sé si en vuestro país se celebra pero aquí en Italia el 15 de agosto es una fiesta nacional dedicada a la Virgen María y durante años utilizada por las familias para realizar grandes almuerzos y viajes. No teníamos grandes ideas pero por suerte nos llamó una amiga para animarnos a acompañarla a ella y a otras personas, entre ellas dos compañeros de mi marido, a un viaje a las montañas de Pistoia, y desde allí hicimos varias paradas por los alrededores. las montañas. Nos encontramos en un lugar muy conocido en la montaña, el lago del puente colgante, el puente colgante es una atracción ubicada en San Marcello, un conocido centro turístico de montaña, este puente tiene unos cien metros de largo y se destaca en Tiene 60 metros de altura, debajo hay un valle con un encantador lago muy fresco en verano, está a una hora aproximadamente de nuestra casa. Salimos a media tarde y tomé algunas fotos de la hermosa vista del camino, llegamos al lago y tomamos un aperitivo con amigos en el bar al lado del lago, un lugar encantador, todo en un bosque típico de montaña, estamos estábamos en buena compañía y nos reíamos viendo a los camareros jugando con globos de agua, ninguno quería subir al puente, todos somos unos cobardes pero les hicimos fotos a los que subieron, ¡valientes!
 

 
After enjoying the fresh air on the lake for a while we decided to move towards another mountain location, Maresca, where we knew a party was being held in a well-known local venue and where we found the only pizzeria with a free table for 8 people, even though we had dinner after nine in the evening, we waited for dinner time by stopping at a place where we nibbled on some appetizers then we went to a pizzeria called Dodo where we ate some excellent pizzas on the peel, with a delicious and crunchy dough , furthermore we spent very little and they had a great choice of very tasty pizzas such as mortadella and pistachio, burrata and nduja and many others, I took a simple vegetarian one while my husband took a pizza with tuna, onion, corn and burrata. Dinner was good and afterwards we decided to be "young" and go for a drink in this very trendy place where they played dance music and people danced in the street, we too danced until three in the morning! A really rare thing for us who usually go to bed early! It was a truly beautiful evening and a beautiful little journey with pleasant stages.

Después de disfrutar un rato del aire libre en el lago decidimos desplazarnos hacia otro lugar de montaña, Maresca, donde sabíamos que se estaba celebrando una fiesta en un conocido local de la zona y donde encontramos la única pizzería con mesa libre para 8 personas. gente, aunque cenamos pasadas las nueve de la noche, esperamos la hora de cenar parando en un lugar donde picamos unos aperitivos luego fuimos a una pizzería que se llama Dodo donde comimos unas excelentes pizzas con piel, con una deliciosa y masa crujiente, además gastamos muy poco y tenían una gran variedad de pizzas muy ricas como mortadela y pistacho, burrata y nduja y muchas otras, yo cogí una vegetariana sencilla mientras mi marido cogió una pizza de atún, cebolla, maíz. y burrata. La cena estuvo bien y después decidimos ser "jóvenes" e ir a tomar algo a este local muy de moda donde ponían música de baile y la gente bailaba en la calle, ¡nosotros también bailamos hasta las tres de la mañana! ¡Algo realmente raro para nosotros que solemos acostarnos temprano! Fue una velada realmente hermosa y un pequeño y hermoso viaje con etapas agradables.
