Road trip to Lentula River ( Eng/Esp)

Good morning Hivers, as I said in various previous posts, I have been a bit absent these days because I and I, having some free time, went on some small trips, one of these was to Lentula, a fairly remote place in the municipality of Sambuca Pistoia, a place on the mountain with only a handful of houses, but very popular in summer due to the beauty of the stream that takes its name from the town Lentula. It is about an hour from here and the view during the journey is magnificent even if personally I suffered from too many curves, there were so many! To get to Lentula we passed several mountains and villages, passing along a road called the Riola which starts from Pistoia and through woods and overhangs and small clusters of houses leading to Lentula, we had to stop several times both to admire the landscape but also to avoid car sickness. We were with the little girl and before leaving we prepared a cooler with sandwiches and cold drinks and obviously everything needed for a bath!

Buenos días Hivers, como dije en varios posts anteriores, he estado un poco ausente estos días porque yo y yo, teniendo algo de tiempo libre, hicimos unos pequeños viajes, uno de estos fue a Lentula, un lugar bastante apartado del municipio. de Sambuca Pistoia, un lugar en la montaña con sólo un puñado de casas, pero muy popular en verano debido a la belleza del arroyo que toma su nombre del pueblo Lentula. Está a una hora aproximadamente de aquí y la vista durante el viaje es magnífica aunque personalmente sufrí demasiadas curvas, ¡eran tantas! Para llegar a Lentula pasamos por varias montañas y pueblos, pasando por una carretera llamada Riola que parte de Pistoia y a través de bosques, voladizos y pequeños grupos de casas que conducen a Lentula, tuvimos que parar varias veces tanto para admirar el paisaje como para Evite los mareos en el coche. Estuvimos con la pequeña y antes de irnos preparamos una hielera con bocadillos y bebidas frías y obviamente ¡todo lo necesario para un baño!

We found a small island of rocks and settled there, after a short swim we ate some sandwiches and while we waited to digest we helped the little girl catch some tadpoles and then throw them back into the water and build towers of rocks. Then we took another couple of swims and when it started to get dark we returned home, also because the river water is already quite cold and in the evening it is even colder. But it was a really pleasant trip and a pleasant day, the little girl had fun and so did we, shame about the distance because it would be a river to return to more often!

Después de un tortuoso viaje finalmente llegamos al río, desafortunadamente estaba bastante lleno pero afortunadamente después de una corta caminata por el bosque encontramos un sendero transitable y vadeamos el río durante unos diez minutos antes de llegar cerca del bache donde podíamos nadar, el El hoyo es bastante profundo pero seguro si sabes nadar, lamentablemente no soy nadador y por lo tanto solo pude bucear en las partes bajas del río. Luego nos dimos otro par de baños y cuando empezó a oscurecer volvimos a casa, también porque el agua del río ya está bastante fría y por la noche hace aún más frío. Pero fue un viaje muy agradable y un día agradable, la pequeña se divirtió y nosotros también, lástima la distancia porque sería un río al que volver más seguido!
