Reflection on how fortunate I am.

This christmas, I'm feeling more fortunate than most, roof over my head, dry as the rain pours down, no debt, a paid for home, a good dog, Diego, by my side, I still feel sorrow because I am pretty aware of what is ahead for all of us. It doesn't look good. But, then, life has always been a struggle for millions not born into my life and times.
We here in our illusion of a protected world are about to experience hardships we cannot yet envision. Hug your families close. Stop being afraid of a virus that only governments pretend they can control, but not without your obedience. Those same governments (global now) created the fear, and they have also created the "solutions" that they want you to believe in. Mostly, they have just created a mass psychosis of global fear. Without that mass psychosis of fear, they will fail.
So, instead of succumbing to fear of some nefarious virus, real or imagined, consider all those that you once loved that are now estranged because of the mass media appeal to divide and conquer. Imagine a world where we are no longer afraid of illness and germs, a world where we once just went about our business of living life, having adventures, going where we wanted, and not feeling a desperate need to get a DNA nasal swab test every time we get the sniffles.
Try to imagine that world. Yes, there has always been a lot wrong with that world. Injustices have prevailed during my entire life of living here in this realm, For as long as I can remember, justice has always served the rich over the poor, no matter racial identity or skin color. It's a fact. It has always been a caste system. But we are the many, and "they" are the few.
When do people begin to realize that we are being played? We are being used? We are being driven to give up on our most soul-driven traits which define what it is to be a human being, in this plane of existence? That of courage and strength, human endurance and love of life and of each other.
With those thoughts, I wish you all a most Merry Christmas. I love you all.
