On that fateful day, we were all in class learning when we suddenly heard a shout from the veranda, it was a student calling out that the police had entered the school compound. No one seemed to understand what was happening, the story wasn’t clear.

Before we could figure out what was going on, gunshots erupted. It was a cult clash and the police had stepped in to control the situation. It turned into a bloody day in the school, everyone began running, the class was disrupted, and gunshots echoed everywhere.

Sadly, one of the most friendly students on campus was hit by a stray bullet. He wasn’t involved, he was only running for his life when the bullet struck him. Tears flowed, indeed it was a dark day in summer.
