My Actifit Report Card: September 3 2025(Exploring the city of Ibadan)

I'm currently in my adventure era, where I go explore villages and cities. On today's adventure, I'll be exploring ibadan city. Ibadan is the capital of oyo state Nigeria.

As I wander through Ibadan's vibrant streets, I'm struck by the city's infectious energy. Every day, I discover something new, a local delicacy, a fascinating story, or a hidden gem. Ibadan effortlessly blends tradition with modernity, making it captivating to explore.

I've fallen in love with the rich flavours and aromas of Yoruba dishes like amala, pounded yam, and egusi soup.

Learning Yoruba has helped me connect with the locals. A simple "bawo" (hello) or "e se" (thank you) can brighten someone's day. The locals are warm and welcoming, eager to share their stories and traditions.

What I love most about Ibadan is its people, students, traders, and artists, each with a unique perspective. As I continue to explore, I'm excited to see what other adventures await. Whether it's trying new foods, visiting landmarks, or learning more about the culture, I'm determined to soak up every experience.

Ibadan may not be flashy, but it has a charm that's hard to resist. It's a city that will leave you with memories to cherish and a desire to return. I'll keep exploring, learning, and soaking up the vibrant culture of Ibadan, eager to see what the next day brings , a new favorite dish, a hidden gem, or a deeper understanding of the city's rich history.
