HOTA RAMEN : Halal Ramen Place Review

Hi hivers... This weekend, me and my friends ate at a Japanese food place on Jl. Setia Budi No.16, Tj. Rejo, Kec. Medan Sunggal, Medan City, North Sumatra. We enjoy our weekend with delicious food. The place is not too big where it is at the crossroads. They are halal-certified so it's safe for Muslim friends who want to try the food here.

They offered ramen with 4 types of ramen from rich to spicy soup with 2 choices of meat toppings, there are Chicken Casu and Wagyu beef. This their menu book.

My choice went to Kara : ramen with chicken broth mixed with chili oil and topped with chicken casu. The picture on the menu is exactly the same as the real thing. Topped with chasu chicken, wood ear mushroom, nori, ramen egg, fried onion, and scallion.

The aroma smell so good with thick and rich broth, it is quite appetizing. For me it's not too spicy, i still enjoy the spicy taste. The ramen costs 48.000 rupiah ($3). For additional condiment such as chili powder and chopped green onions are available next to the cashier can be taken as much as possible. And my friends ordered Extreme Tory and Kara also.

For the drink, I only ordered mineral water with additional ice cubes.

For dessert, we also ordered jiggly pudding in the shape of a capybara for 25.000 rupiah ($1.5). The milk pudding was very cute and adorable with the addition of brown sugar solution for the topping. The shape was very chubby and cute. The flavor was not too sweet and the texture was soft. It's also one of the best-selling menus here.

The concept of this caffe absolutely using Japanese theme. It's not too big but it's cozy. The interior was also beautiful and cool. The service is also friendly and fast. Overall, it's a good place and one that I'll come back to next time.
