Gearing up for more cross-nation travels in insane covi times | Diary

I really didn't think I would say this again but we are gearing up for another quarantine... You think 14 days in a van was hard, well let's see how the next round goes if it comes to that. But really, this one ought to go much smoother, as we can find many avenues to prepare ourselves for it mentally and logistically. As opposed to last time.

Montenegro has been an awesome experience but we can see the end of our stay here drawing closer. The Greek borders are still closed which is a shame but maybe they will open up in fall for just long enough to allow us to make it there. And hence we will make our way through Serbia next, to enter Bulgaria and see how we like the country. High chance they will not let us in because of our prolonged stay in Montenegro ;)

But unlike last time we have ample experience about all the stuff we need, our water usage and what we like to eat during a two week lockdown in our van again. We even might have a chance to go online in that time for this round (prepared a EU-Sim card) and so really, the quarantine should be more like how we travel anyway - staying out in nature somewhere and enjoying our time.

New pathways have opened up and I feel my trading skills are gaining more and more traction, I see more clearly and I am really stoked to continue with trading as a lifestyle and a means to travel. Slowly getting there, consistency as the highest goal.

We are enjoying the last few days here at the Adriatic sea and will embark on our journey to Bulgaria a week from now, depending on how life will signal us to move. It will be exciting to be on the road again, maybe challenging. But then we didn't start this journey to just call it quits somewhere along the way.

More places need to be visited, awesome people to be met and new opportunities to be seized.

I also want to get back to writing more regularly again as I felt I really needed a break to focus on the other aspects in my life recently. Looks like I will have more than enough time for blogging again being holed up in our van for another two weeks once we cross the border and aren't allowed out in public ahahaha.

Let's hope they will just let us cross without all the shenanigans ;) But we will not let ourselves stopped, we are gonna find our land somewhere out there! It will be glorious to find out where it is ;)
