NEW CBN POLICY: BIZARRE REACTION FROM ONE OF THE TOP POLITICAL CLASS IN NIGERIA OVER THE NAIRA WITHDRAWAL LIMIT.

Ideally! I don not really like talking about politics because I am always not interested due to it dirty part. But there is no how you would want to talk about political economy without you talking about politics itself. Sometimes, the economy of a country lies on mostly on all these politicians reason is that it's through political means that the Governor of CBN was appointed.

Since the new CBN policy on naira redesigning and counter withdrawal limit, it seems there are some politicians that are not in support of the new policy.

According to the Governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu Fintiri stated that, the new CBN policy was made to target the political class.

To target the political class? That's a jaw dropping comments from one of the top politicians in Nigeria. With that comments, one would know something is fishy. If we are to check very well, the redesignation of the naira and withdrawal limit policy was made to counter hoarding, embezzlement and corruption. I shared a couple of pictures some days concerning how N500 and N1,000 note were discovered in Abuja, Lagos and Rivers. Nobody was able to come out and claim the money.

We have read a lot news where many unknown politicians embezzled project money and hoard it. These are one of the act that messed up naira circulation and naira devaluation in Nigeria economy system. It was even stated by the CBN that if there's any need to make such withdrawal by any political class, the reason should be stated wit follow up. So I don't understand the panick among the political class in Nigeria.
