Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and am hoping everyone is having a great day. Thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been plus some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a cloudy dull day but with amazing fresh air 🍃.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the election campaigning rallies all over the country.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Russia admitted to yesterday's bombing of Odesa, claiming they only hit military targets😹. Ukrainian soldiers emboldened by deliveries of western supplied artillery, are clawing back territory in the southern region and have promised to take back Kherson 👏. The Pope is in Canada to apologise to indigenous people who faced decades of abuse in Catholic run boarding schools 😢.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still at 22k, let's see how this new week goes, do keep hodling 💯.Four major macro events are happening this week.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry. Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre 🌲 and then later at the shopping center..
Then I was back indoors where I had my usual nap 💤. I woke up some time early evening feeling well rested 💯. I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, more than one thousand migrants rescued from the Mediterranean Sea- taken to Italy. Rights groups have warned of more people trying to cross into Europe as global inflation gets worse 😢. In crazy weather, a big wild fire in California has caused evacuation. In Japan, a volcano 🌋 has erupted on the island of Kyushu, prompting evacuations 😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
