On the way to the Zanskar Valley Himalayas.

Julley Everyone,

Starting this beautiful day out here today in the outskirts of Himalayas as hair river, somewhere quite isolated regions, where we were even beyond isolated villages of the most remote areas of Lahul and Spiti. Where we were on our way to the expedition of exploring the beautiful magical Zanskar Valley, situated at an altitude of more than 4000 m above the sea level beyond the Himalayas, and towards the cold himalayan desert region of leh and Ladakh. In this post, I’m gonna take you guys along with me to this beautiful journey where I’m gonna share you few of the moments of the places, unknown and explode and captured as usually the thing is that the people when they travel they have fixed destination on their mind that they need to reach at the spot. Then they will click the photograph, but what I think about when I go to some expedition or adventure is to capture as many memories as I could so that I could share the even the leftover moments with the masses. The places that are in between has its own true beauty as somewhere in the ancient times the ancient Explorers would have explore this beautiful, hidden corner of the Himalayas too.

The beginning of a new adventure, it was somewhere around 11:41 AM since we started our journey from the guest house in a place called Jispa in Lahul. Started our journey early morning since we even covered the lost villages of the place of Lahul and Spiti naming Darcha. where I noticed that there were these very few houses in the village and it was also at an higher altitude place the climate condition at this place it was really very harsh and isolated as I was so amazed to see that how the people could live at such an harsh dramatic condition as in the winter season, the whole place is covered with the thick sheet of snow and even the water all around the place is frozen due to the minus temperature all around.

At certain points, I was not sure about that what this place was called as it was somewhere around 1 1/2 hour away from the last village. When we reached at this spot, I could see a whole mountain lush green in the Harsh climatic region. also maybe because of the glacier that was nearby that provided the constant flow of water in the places nearby, we were at an altitude of both than 3500 m above the sea level and currently we were on our way to the place called Padam Zanskar Valley.

The mountain Roads.

The adventure was really very thrilling as we could literally feel that we were climbing the mountains up as it was the kind of feel that the road just provided us, we were driving by the side of the mountain and gaining altitude, slowly and steadily, and reaching at the top, where we could find the mountain pass, where we could cross the two mountain ranges, and the whole moment, kind of looked something just like this.

Even it was a beautiful day along with the beautiful clear skies, usually, it was only the time of the year when we could visit the place. Usually, the place is covered with a thick sheet of snow, ranging beyond the months of October and the snow that last still mid May, and then there are only these few months that we could reach and also there is the monsoon time that’s gonna come later the October time and beyond that it’s the time of direct snowfall at the place, but altogether it was really beautiful moment that we reached at this place, captured the beautiful moments and also got to see few of the most beautiful ranges that we could clearly spot on.

At certain points, there were these pine trees just right next to the road and individually there was very little vegetation at the place because of the higher attitude place that the place had and it was the reason beyond the non-tropical zone where usually the vegetation and the growth is really very hard because of the Harsh climatic conditions that the climate offers of the place or also the place known as beyond the tree line.

Falling Rocks.

At certain points, another thing that I noticed when I was at this place was that there were the signboards of falling rocks for awhile. I wondered around that we were just driving by the side of the mountain and there is no steep hill from where we could spot the rocks, but in just no time, we reached at a corner where we could spot that the whole mountain range. It was all dry as it seems like.

There were these portions of landslides by the side of the road caused because of the areas that prone to the avalanches nearby.

Here is a quick glimpse of the moment of the region of dry avalanche.

So my adventure kind of looked something just like this, and I’m gonna share my story beyond the spot in my upcoming blog post. Stay tuned for the adventure beyond, and that was the region unknown beyond the last village on the way to the Zanskar Valley.

Do let me know my friends, the photographs you like the most in the comment section, and I would love to hear it from you, and also the part of the adventure that you like the most.

I tried capturing as many photographs as I could so that I could share the moment with you guys, and you guys could also experience the hidden beauty of the Himalayas. I have captured all of these photographs using my Apple iPhone 12 and than using iPhone photo editor.

So that’s all today, guys, I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
