“It’s so quiet, I can literally hear my phone judging me for not sleeping

Hello my fellow @midnightowls and welcome to my blog once again, am excited to write on this prompt #5
It's midnight here already and am still here sitting by my window and reflecting on myself.

To me, midnight sounds like the world is finally remembering to keep quiet for a bit. It’s that time when everyone is asleep,snoring like old engines, everything slows down , the streets go silent, the air feels cooler, and even time seems to move gently. You might hear the distant hum of a generator, a dog barking somewhere far off, or the soft chirping of crickets breaking the silence. If you listen closely, you can almost hear your own thoughts clearer, the kind of thoughts that hide during the day’s noise.
The house is so quiet that even the ticking clock sounds like it’s shouting. I can hear the ceiling fan humming like it’s trying to sing me to sleep.

Right now, it’s just me, my thoughts, the dim glow of my phone and the soft hum of the night! .Everyone else is in dreamland, probably enjoying life while I’m here overthinking every little thing from “Did I lock the door?” to “Why didn't I speak up yesterday?” Midnight really knows how to bring up memories you didn’t ask for.

Sometimes I hear a random sound outside and my brain suddenly becomes a detective: “Was that the wind or a thief?” But still, there’s something peaceful about it. No noise, no calls, no responsibilities ,just calm, quiet chaos in my own head.

Midnight has a funny way of being both comforting and creepy at the same time. One minute I’m enjoying the silence, the next I’m convinced that someone just passed my window . But I love it anyway. It’s the only time of day that truly feels like mine, when the world is asleep and I get to just be me alone with my thoughts.

So when they say “midnight has a sound,” it’s not really something you hear with your ears. It’s something you feel deep inside ,the quiet that wraps around you, the calm that settles your heart, and the gentle reminder that even in silence, you’re not truly alone. Midnight sounds like peace, reflection, and the soft rhythm of life slowing down for a moment.

Thanx for reading once again
@preshy007 love you all
