Book Review ~ Professor Som -A remarkable novel of mystery, logic and human life

  Summary of the book  

Koushik Samanta's Professor Som is the story of an extraordinarily intelligent, logical and sharp-eyed person.   My personal opinion  

Professor Som seems to me to be not just a mystery novel but a contemplative literary work based on logic, observation, and subtle analysis of character. Kaushik Samanta has created the atmosphere and situation in such a way that while reading, I felt as if I was seeing the entire incident with my own eyes.

The character of Professor Som is particularly interesting. He is calm, unassuming, but a man with incredible powers of observation. He is not overly dramatic anywhere, nor does he try to impart unnecessary knowledge anywhere. Every dialogue and thought of his is based on logic. His presence in the story has created a solid foundation.

The author's language is simple, clear and does not tire the reader at all. The events are also arranged very rhythmically, which will undoubtedly be enjoyable for mystery lovers.

However, those who are expecting a very fast-paced thriller or action-based novel will get a taste of a slow, logical mystery here. This is not a storm of excitement, it is an experience of slowly diving deep.

Professor Som is a book that is a beautiful combination of mystery, depth of the human mind and analytical thinking. Kaushik Samanta has gone beyond the usual mystery novel and presented a real sense of logic, psychology and character. This is a must-read for those who like intelligent mysteries, slow-paced thrills and character-based stories.
