Today, I want to share with you this new adventure I had the other day. It was a beautiful trip to the capital of Portugal. Specifically, we went to its modern area located in Oriente, near the river, which is famous for its beautiful modern architecture and unique designs. It also has many entertaining things to do, so you will have a day full of fun and beautiful photos.

El día de hoy quiero compartirles esta nueva aventura que tuve el otro día, se trata de un hermoso paseo en la capital de Portugal específicamente nos fuimos a su zona moderna que se encuentra localizado en Oriente, cerca del río donde es famoso por sus hermosas arquitecturas modernas y diseños únicos, además que tiene muchas cosas entretenidas que puedes hacer, así tendrás un día lleno de diversión y hermosas fotos.

The first thing I did was take the subway and get off near Oriente, where I walked to the Oriente station, which offers many types of transportation, from long trips outside the country to domestic trips or trips within the capital. There is also a train that goes to the same destinations and a subway that also runs through the capital. So when it comes to transportation, this place has many options for you.
Now, talking about architecture, we can highlight the design of Oriente Station, which has a unique and beautiful design. It was built in 1998 by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, becoming one of the most important transportation lines and being accompanied by Expo 98 and Parque de las Naciones. Another of the buildings that accompany and stand out in Oriente are the twin towers, which are residential apartments with the Vasco da Gama shopping center and a gym in the center, making them one of the most expensive apartments in the area.

Lo primero que hice fue coger el metro y bajarme cerca de oriente, donde camine hasta la estación de oriente donde tienes muchos tipos de transportes, desde largo viajes fuera del país, hasta viajes nacionales o dentro de la capital, también tienes el tren que cuenta con los mismos destinos y un metro que recorre también la capital. Así que cuando se trata de transporte, este lugar tiene muchas opciones para ti.
Ahora hablando de las arquitecturas podemos destacar el diseño de la estación de oriente que tiene un diseño único y precioso, fue construido en el año 1998 por el arquitecto español Santiago Calatrava, transformándose en una de las líneas más importantes de transporte y siendo acompañado junto con el expo98 y el parque las naciones. Otra de las edificaciones que acompañan y destacan en oriente son las dos torres gemelas, que son unos apartamentos para fines de vivienda que cuentan en el centro el cc de vasco da gama y gimnasio, siendo uno de los apartamentos más caros de la zona.

The Expo 98 I mentioned earlier is an exhibition of flags from around the world. You can find all the flags of the world there, accompanied by a fountain around them. Next to this exhibition, there is a work of art made from recycled materials recreating the Iberian lynx, an animal that represents Portugal and Spain. This work of art was created to celebrate the birth of 30 cubs on the Iberian Peninsula, according to an announcement by the environmental protection agency. If you're wondering why this is cause for celebration, it's because this animal is endangered, so it is highly protected.
Opposite the shopping center is the Lisbon Arena, where most concerts are held, so you may be able to hear your favorite singer perform there. There are also cable cars that run along the eastern side of the river, where you can take a ride and enjoy beautiful views of the area.

En estas zonas también puedes alquilar una bicicleta a través de una aplicación sin tiempo limitado para que puedas pasear por todo Oriente y disfrutar de sus vistas. Tiene su centro de estacionamiento en varios puntos que puedes localizar desde la app.
El expo 98 que había mencionado antes se trata de una exposición de banderas mundial, todas las banderas del mundo podrás localizar ahí acompañada de una fuente a su alrededor y junto a esa exposición tenemos una obra de arte hecho con materiales reciclados recreando el lince ibérico que es un animal que representa mucho Portugal y España. ¿Incluso esta obra de arte que nació en celebración del nacimiento de 30 crías en la península Ibérica según el anuncio de la institución protección ambiental, si te preguntas por qué esa celebración? Se trata de un animal en peligro de extinción, así que por ese motivo es muy protegida.
Frente al centro comercial tenemos la Arena de Lisboa, donde la mayoría de los conciertos son realizados, así que es posible que tu cantante favorito puedas escucharlo en esta arena. También están los teleféricos que recorren la zona de oriente a pie del río, donde podrás pasear con hermosas vistas de la zona.

I also recommend visiting the Vasco da Gama Tower. It is a hotel, but at the top there is a bar where you can pay a fee to go up and enjoy a drink and some snacks. On the same route, you will find Tejo Park, located almost at the foot of the bridge, where you can take pictures of this beautiful bridge.
The Vasco da Gama Bridge was built in 1998 and connects the capital with Setubal, which is the state next to the capital on the way south, facilitating better mobility in the country.
This is because the 25 de Abril Bridge, which was the only one that existed, was congested as it was the only alternative for traveling south by car. At the time of its construction, it was named the longest bridge in Europe. At its inauguration, a celebration was held where feijoada, a famous dish in Portugal, was served, and an entry was made in the Guinness Book of World Records.

También te recomiendo visitar la torre Vasco da Gama. Se trata de un hotel, pero a su tope tienes un bar donde puedes pagar un valor para subir y te incluye una bebida junto con unos snacks. Y en ese mismo recorrido tienes cerca el parque Tejo que se encuentra casi abajo del puente, donde puedes fotografiar este hermoso puente.
El puente vasco gama fue construido en el año 1998 que conecta la capital con Setubal que es el estado de al lado de la capital en camino al sur, facilitando el país a una mejor movilidad
ya que el puente 25 de abril, que era el único que existía siempre, se encontraba congestionado por ser la única alternativa para ir al sur en coche. En su tiempo de construcción fue nombrado el puente más largo de Europa. En su inauguración se realizó una celebración en donde se sirvió feijoada que es un plato famoso en Portugal, además se hizo una inscripción al record guiness.

So if you come to Portugal, you can't miss visiting Oriente. It's a beautiful, famous area that has a lot to offer. It also has an exhibition hall where events are held, the Oceanarium is nearby, and there are other things that will surprise you.
