What School Forgot to Teach Us About Growing Up

We are taught everything in school. Whether it is a formula for a match or a theory chapter from science or a history syllabus, the thing that gets missed is how to tackle things in our lives or how to learn practical things. No school or college can make you responsible until you learn how to be responsible in life. This is the thing that makes a child a man in life. There are many things, such as responsibility, that are not taught to us in school, which we learn later in life when we face challenges or difficulties.

One of the most important things I wish could be taught in school is how to use money properly or manage it. No school teaches how to manage money. I want every student to learn how to manage money, whether it is how much percentage you have to invest, how much money to spend or how to invest systematically. These things are not taught in school because, in the subjects taught in school, it is not taught how to manage money or how to invest money at what time and from where. There are so many things that I should first keep in an emergency fund. Whenever there is an emergency, it should be resolved and then invested so that you can save money in the long term.

Life is not what we think it will be like. In my childhood, I used to think that nobody would cheat here or everyone would be loyal to each other, but as I grew up and got cheated, I realised that it is very difficult to trust here because the most valuable thing we have is trust. If you are giving trust to someone, it is a big thing. We should trust someone after thinking very carefully because in today's date, everyone thinks about themselves, and this is also not wrong. We should think about ourselves. Always. But sometimes we do such things to the other person that their trust is broken. Then those people have a lot of problems. School will never teach you all these lessons. Life will teach you this.

One of the most important things that schools should teach is communication skills. Communication skill is a very important thing which is useful to any person anywhere in today's date. Not just anywhere, it is useful everywhere because you can approach anyone in any interview. Communication skills with anyone are the key, so communication is the key to success, whether it is useful to you in any place or not. But communication skill is such a thing which is always useful to you. You have to teach how to keep grammar correct, how to keep vocabulary collected and how to express yourself? All these things are very important. The communication skills that are there in today's date, I was not taught communication very well in my school, so today I am not able to speak very well, and I am gradually improving it.

Time management is also something that is not taught in schools, such as how to manage time. How much time to invest where? Time is such a thing that once it is gone, it can never come back, so time is very important in anybody's life. Because time is very limited. Everyone has time; once it is gone, it never comes back, so how do you manage time? How to learn how much time to give priority to which thing? Which task to do at what time? How much responsibility to set and how to meet deadlines, I think all these things should be learnt in school, how to do time management. It should be valued that everyone should keep balance work, rest and personal time separate and everyone should do it effectively.

We never learnt in school how to deal with failure, so whenever we fail today, we think that nothing more can happen to us. But I believe that failure is the key to success. Whatever big people you see, no matter who has achieved a lot today, they must have failed at some point in time, because until you fail, you will not be able to face the reality of your life. Until life gives you a shock or a setback, you will not be able to learn. Life wants you to become tougher and understand that when you have more failures in life, you stand very strong. Be confident, tackle it, that is why life keeps giving you a failure, little by little at a time, so that you can set it right and make yourself stronger.

So these are small things which I wish I had been taught in school, then I would not have had so many problems today, as I am having because, yes, it is not that you don't have to learn anything in school, you have to learn a lot in school. How do you learn to make a best friend in school? You have to learn to have fun in school. You have to learn everything in school which you cannot learn anywhere else. You play sports in school, and you are taught a lot of things. But if all this is added on, then you will come out of school as a perfect man. That is why I want all these things to be taught in school, because all these things are very important. To make any child responsible in any life. Because if a child learns all this, then he will become a very responsible citizen in future. Be it his place.
