It is one thing growing organic food and it's a great idea, but we think one should get into discovering what you can eat that's just growing in Nature and simply unstoppable. why fight with the weeds? EAT THEM!

Just tilling your garden or starting a no-dig permaculture project will set into motion a variety of tiny little weeds growing into adults and then spreading their seeds everywhere. most people remove them as they feel they are pests or a hindrance to the classic vegetable growing, To the contrary letting them grow will help balance things in the long run and they are far more nutritious than most cultivated food.

Making room for the edible weeds is a great reason to make a fresh start, redo the garden, and let the seeds grow that have been spread from the fields or gardens around you. It's worth finding out what they all are and what nutrients they contain if they are edible or not before removing them. The first thing that comes to mind is Dandelions or of course Plantain, Rumex or Nettles research the multiple things you can do with just those if you don't already know .
Locals and county folk here in Albania and many Balkan states and places that have been left alone by mainstream society have the knowledge and take these plants for granted it is in the culture and on most dinner tables . They would probably laugh at this article

We noticed when we were living in Cambodia that the local's connection with nature was powerful all sorts of things available on the markets that just grow in the gardens and jungle naturally. This connection to nature of course was caused by the need to survive but also these foods that were given to us by Mother Nature to nourish and heal.

People are often real lightweights when it comes to going outside their comfort zone as regards new tastes and textures, perhaps they are afraid of eating a poisonous plant, you do indeed need to be careful the same as with mushrooms, you can always learn from a local expert and avid gardener. we would suggest finding someone who knows their shit as the edible plants and medicinals may vary from region to region and there are a lot of look-alikes, caution is advised, for example, wild carrots have a deadly look alike but they are easy to spot. DON'T DO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ARE 1OO PERCENT SURE

Once you identify and harvest a plant you can start by just cooking it in a frying pan with a lid you can use fat, butter, or ghee .I'd really suggest a fat that's solid at room temperature, not any oils, Or simply use water at the bottom of the pan and cook until it is wilted and fully cooked then perhaps put some freshly grated ginger on top and cover while it cooks a couple of minutes more with some salt pepper or other condiments like chili pepper to taste then add olive oil but only After cooking ATTENTION try too always soak all plants it in vinegar and bicarb or homemade lye (this is another blog ) for an hour to remove any bitter taste and toxins such as animal urine

We are no experts on wild food, gardening, science, or nutrition, many among you will have. a thing or two to say but the aim of this is to let you know what we have discovered and how we are running things we are thinking it may motivate somebody somewhere <3 who knows.

After many chats with other awakening party people turned farmers and healers in Cambodia on the elite's future agenda for 2030 (let's not get into it further ) and the need to learn farming and survival if you didn't want to be forced into mad compliance to be able to survive and feed your family, In a nutshell, we started to learn and think about How to avoid crazy shit in the near future plus avoid poison that is on every supermarket shelf and in every household product ( IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT GOLD AND BITCOIN ). We touched down In Albania a very different culture and environment. What was similar was the amount of edible and medicinal plants some 2000 or more. we slowly started to scratch the surface of independence and knowledge beginning with our little bit of land.

We started to grow food and make household products, and now we sell much of it to the local vegan restaurant, we try to eat the wild edibles as much as possible, we feel so much better for it. Village eggs, wild greens real olive oil, and Good coffee are all you need to survive in good health in our humble opinion.
