Right now, the rain still hasn’t stopped. The wind is strong, and the sound of it makes the night feel longer. Typhoon Tino is still here, and honestly, it’s scary.

My cousin lives in Consolacion, Cebu and this morning their neighbors came running to their house because the flood was already too high. The water almost reached the first floor, so everyone went up to the second floor to stay safe. Some brought their kids, others carried bags and small things they could save.

My cousin said it’s hard to sleep because the wind keeps blowing so loud. But what’s really touching is that people are helping each other. Even if everyone is tired and scared, they share food, tell stories, and try to make each other feel calm.

I just hope the rain will stop soon. It’s sad to see people worried and homes surrounded by water. But I also believe that after every storm, there’s always hope and light waiting. Please pray for everyone affected by Typhoon Tino. Stay safe, everyone.
