Families are complex, rhizomatic, expanding, and morphing entities, and we engaged with "OURS" yesterday. My younger daughter's gentleman friend, with whom she has conjured my grandson, RIOT, has another son from a previous relationship, which means Riot has a built in brother, and that's cool. Yesterday was the birthday party for Brother Rush... (Yes, their names are RUSH and RIOT...) The party was fun! (Although there were a LOT of people there, so I spent a great deal of time sitting outside the birthday building drawing in my notebook...)

There was even a playground right on the site!!!

Sometimes, it's good to go outside. (And sometimes, it's sunny, and grandpa has to hide in the shade! I'm afraid of people and afraid of sunshine... But demons and ghosts, I'm cool with them folks...)

And just so I can still call this an ALIEN post (as if MY WEIRDNESS ain't enough to qualify), here's a weirdo picture. (Don't tell anybody you saw this, though. I haven't figured out where I'm gonna publish it yet!!! HA!)
