Missing: Heihei!

It was almost 10:00 A.M. when I woke up this morning. That's really the first I woke up that late, and what somehow baffled me was the absence of my usual cat alarm—Heihei. I thought she was just having her casual walks outside so I brushed that uneasiness off. However, when afternoon came and she still didn't come back, that's when I started to panic. I called for her many times while I was feeding our other cats, but even after I walked around our house calling her name, she still didn't respond.
For almost hours I waited, called, and looked for her. I tried to reassure myself that maybe she was just exploring nearby and nothing bad happened to her. But I was overthinking and really worried at that time. A myriad of possible bad things that might happen to her came to my mind. I didn't even have my usual siesta at 3:00 P.M. because I was still waiting for her return. To distract myself, I tried to divert my focus to our other cats, Muning and Maning. Miraculously Maning seemed to understand my distress because he just posed still when I took a picture of him, as if he knew I needed his cuteness that moment.
Muning on the other hand, seemed a little bit agitated today. I don't why—but she seemed to be distant to me lately. When I took a picture of her, she tried to get inside the gap in the tin roof that we'd placed to be our fence to separate us from our neighbors. But she didn't go inside it, instead she just stayed near it. I tried to capture some nice pictures, but she was still sullen when I captured her shots. But moments later she let her guard down and after that, I already have some nice surprised pictures of her.
Back to my missing Heihei, I still waited and looked for her. I'm near to asking my neighbors if Heihei was there. I have a strong suspicion that she was there and it seemed it was right because later on—suddenly somewhere between 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.—something was dropped in our front yard. And lo and behold, it's our dearest Heihei! I was so happy when I saw her safe. I immediately hugged her and I really felt that her heart was beating so fast. Perhaps it's because she jumped from a higher place or she was thrown by our neighborhood, but regardless of how she came back to us—what matters is that she came safely without any apparent injuries because I wouldn't know what would I do if she ended up like Minggay.
