Momentum is building. The HiveFest x ChainCulture RSVP list is filling up fast and DMs keep rolling in. Some of you are already dusting off your tropical shirts and booking flights. Some are already in KL!

🗓 Change of Plans: Batu Caves moved to Saturday!
After syncing with a few HiveFest planners and local guides, we’re moving the Batu Caves field trip to Saturday 19 October — same plan, just one day earlier.
This means you’ll also have the option to join #BeerSaturday, Hive’s longest-running social tag turned IRL meetup. It frees up your Sunday for self-organized KL adventures, chill time, or sleeping in after an intense week. Before we meet for closing dinner and drinks, but hey far away from that right!
Suggested Sunday plans still floating around:
- Go-karting
- Petronas Towers & city strolls
- Low Yat Plaza (for gadget lovers)
- Or just wander and let the city surprise you 🌆
🏮 DAOs BAOs BEERs: Post Conf Day 1 Mixer
After HiveFest Conference Day 1 (Thursday 16th), keep the vibes flowing with a relaxed walk through Petaling Street Market, the colorful heart of Chinatown Kuala Lumpur. After a bit we’ll settle in for casual food and drinks at the DAOS BAOS BEER Mixer — think bao, beer, talk dao.
DAOs BAOs Beer is happening in a upper bar resto near the Instagram-famous alleyway — a restored heritage lane filled with neon lights, murals, and cafes. It’s one of KL’s most photogenic corners so bring your selfie stick, drones and Leica Soforts!
🏁 Final Stretch
HiveFest kicks off Wednesday 15 October with welcome drinks, followed by two conference days, excursions, and a Sunday closing celebration.
