My Honest Review of KPop Demon Hunters OST ,Music That Got Me Hooked

Good day my people when i saw this new prompt on korean hive village i was like this movie would be interesting and i give it a try just to give my own review,so i watched the movie KPop Demon Hunters, and since then, the soundtrack has been living rent free in my head. I didn’t expect to enjoy the music that much, but it really caught my attention more than any other thing in the movie. The OST of the movie is one of the best part for me, and I just feel like sharing my own view about it.
From the beginning of the movie, the music already set the mood. It was not the usual kind of K-pop that I used to hear randomly online. The beats were strong, energetic and modern, but they still have that Korean cultural feel inside it. It really shows that the producers wanted to mix tradition with modern K-pop, and for me, they did a great job.
One thing I notice is that, anytime the characters were about to face demons or have any serious moment, the background music just change immediately and bring suspense. There was one fight scene in the middle of the movie, and the way the music blend with their moves was perfect. It didn’t distract from the action but added more emotion to it. I actually rewind that scene twice because the music gave me goosebumps.
Another thing I liked is that some of the OSTs had Korean traditional instruments mixed with the usual K-pop sound. I don’t know the name of those instruments, but it sounded so unique and powerful. That kind of sound made the movie different from normal K-pop drama movies.
Also, the voice of the singers was very emotional. You could feel pain, strength, power, and even joy just by listening. The lyrics was mostly in Korean, but even without understanding all of it, the emotion pass across very well.lol😂
After watching the movie, I went to search for the OST on YouTube and Spotify. I’ve added like 3 songs to my playlist already.
In conclusion, I really think the OST of KPop Demon Hunters made the movie more enjoyable for me. Music can make or break a movie, and in this case, it made it better. Even if someone is not a K-pop fan, I believe the soundtrack will still catch their attention because it’s not just about fun beats, it carries story and energy.
So if you haven’t watched the movie yet, try pay attention to the background music while watching. You might be surprise how much effort was put into the sound. For me, it’s one of the best movie soundtrack I’ve listened to this year
