Back again with some spicy updates 🌶️ on my coding adventures!
If you’ve been following my posts, you know I’m on an epic rewriting journey 🛠️.
The mission? Rebuilding the entire CheckInWithXYZ application in ReactJS 💻.
Why the switch? 🤔
Well... Flutter + Dart was a cool experiment 🐦✨, but sadly, the mobile web experience was like ordering pizza and getting only the crust 🍕➡️🥖.
So, ReactJS now powers our onboarding rocket 🚀.
In earlier posts, I spoke about re-developing reports module 📝.
Now, I’m thrilled to showcase the Onboarding Journey module 🎊.

🌟 Onboarding Journey: Step by Step
📸 Upload Selfie Screen
When a brand-new Hiver lands 🚪, they start by uploading a selfie 🤳 (with their onboarder).
⚠️ Test photo = Coffee cup ☕😂 (don’t worry, real deal = Hive joiner + whitelisted onboarder).
👉 After clicking Next, photo gets uploaded, and boom 💥 — next step unlocked!
✍️ Introduce Yourself
Time for newbies to shine like diamonds 💎.
Here new users drop their intro: Who they are? What brings them here?
No confusions left behind ➡️ helpful tips + fun placeholder texts are added too 📝✨.
🧑🤝🧑 Who Onboarded You?

New users simply enter their onboarder’s Hive username (@sagarkothari88 😎). Easy-breezy!

Optional but super useful 🎯.
