Amaranth's Update - My Garden Episode
9 comments
Friends, Happy Wednesday everyone.
Today is a good day, with light clouds in the sky and the presence of sun is also noticeable. Mild heat and mild cold feel very good today's environment. In fact, if there is wind, the presence of the sun becomes somewhat enjoyable.
Today I will share with you another update of my garden. Actually at the moment I am trying to divide my vegetable garden into four parts and grow different types of vegetables. So sometimes I share updates about each one.
Because it is difficult to present all together, the fact is that not all vegetables take the same time to grow, some grow quickly and others take a long time to grow. For this reason, the beginning of all updates can be presented together, but not the end.

Like today I will share the update of Amaranth, although they are not ready to eat yet. It's been almost four weeks though. One of the reasons for this is that there was a lot of rain after the germination of the seeds, due to which the seedlings could not grow at a normal pace.

Also, I did not get a chance to take proper care of them. Due to more rain, I have a lot of problems this time. Another loss is that about 70% of Amaranth plantations have been destroyed by heavy rains. In fact, just as water is necessary for plants, it can also cause death to plants if it is untimely. Many of my vegetable plants have perished this time and it has taken much longer to yield.

Usually in our country they become edible within three weeks. Because we prefer to eat small Amaranth, they also taste great. Also if you are going to eat mature Amaranth then you must wait up to 8 weeks.
I have grown Amaranth before, I started eating from 4th week of service, seedlings grew very quickly and had great opportunity to take care. But this time I have to wait another week before I get a chance to taste them.

On the west side of the Amaranth garden I planted bean seedlings and on the south side papaya seedlings. The papaya plants have grown quite big and have grown beautiful papayas and I have arranged for the bean plants to climb the loft. Hope to share my bean plant update with you in the next episode.

All are my original photographs from my own garden.
Thanks all.
