Hello old friend……………
Silvertop could hike this section of gravel road with his eyes closed!😇
Just up ahead, you will be at the main trailhead.
On one side, a half a dozen Apple trees provide much needed shade in the Summer, and hundreds of delicious Apples for our local Bear population in the Fall! 🐻
Step across the road, and the local wildlife can pause for a cool drink from the pond!😊

“Dad, you need to check out Sumas Mountain, there are hiking trails that go for MILES!”🤗
That was our youngest son, many years ago, trying to convince Dad to join him on a hike………….
Dad at the time was so very busy with a time demanding job, that I didn’t realize what was just outside my front door!🙄
Life happens my friends…………
Now our “Baby” lives over a hundred miles away, and has a Baby of his own!🥰
He is fortunate to have a very good job, that is also very demanding of his time!
Does this sound familiar my friends?😮
It’s a balance between providing for your family financially, and being there for the ones you Love!😍
