A new oil painting on canvas board and the importance of positive thoughts. ❤️

Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Another very hot day here and in the afternoon me and my hubby have to go to the center of the city for a meeting where Paolo have to talk about art and the impact of the Ai with a 2 sociologists from 2 universities. I'm pretty sure it will be an interesting talk to listen for me, but cause the hot weather I hope to see there more than just few people and I cross my fingers to survive to arrive there under the Sun (don't worry, I have a large large straw hat to wear. ❤️

Waiting the time to go out, now I'm here to share with you a new oil painting on canvas board I just finished. I think this is the result of a positive toughts and I want to explain why! As I wrote before, some days ago the site where I use to sell my artworks informed our artists that since the July 22th we couldn't sell anything under 240 euro. For many of us was shocking because the price of a piece depends on many different things: if an artist is a known or not in the art maket (and about this we can write a lot of different thoughts, I think), if the piece is a drawing or a painting, the medium used to paint, the surface and, of course, the size! Along the time my prices grew up and since some years I started to work on larger canvas (more expensive) and small paintings on paper (less expensive) at the same time, so my customers can choose their paintings based on how much money they have, with the same quality, but in different size or surface. Sure, I can sell my A4 paintings on paper at a low price because they are really fast to paint and I sold a lot of them, but since the decision of Artfinder I had to think to change something. I could find another gallery online to sell my original artwork, but along the years I collected a lot of sale there and I met fantastic collectors and buyers, so I thought to follow my usual way to life: find the better even in the bad things. Yes, I thought to think about it like an opportunity to work more on larger artworks, to work more to grow my visibility, to work more to improve my tecniques and style and this is good. ❤️

This is an oil colors painting on canvas board sized 24 cm x 30 cm (9.4" x 11.8") and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
