RETRO MUSIC WEEK #13/ TIME AFTER TIME BY CYNDI LAUPER/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. [ENG-ESP]

Hello everyone, welcome to retro music week #13. Happy new month fellas, I trust we all are doing okay. For this week I'd be covering a classic from the early 80's by American singer-songwriter and actress Cyndi Lauper called "Time after Time". The song talks about what real love means, what it means to love unconditionally even when it's not in our favour. The song explains a relationship between two people, not in it's best state so they slowly let go of each other due to the lack of certainty between them. They are not burning the bridges just because things didn't go as planned between them, the feelings are there. If you're ever in dire need of my help, or you're in trouble...I'd be there for you time after time. Love is a beautiful thing, it doesn't always go the way we want always but it shouldn't stop us from still being good and kind to the people we were once in a relationship with. Love isn't just a feeling, love is Intentional...it's never a continued state of good times as most people are made to believe. Love is a lot of work, commitment and discipline. People make the vows "for better, for worse" but tend to leave when it's no longer beneficial to them. Time after Time is an amazing classic, being there for people even when we're not in the best of terms. I do hope you all enjoy 🎧 my cover of this classic, see you all in week #14 😉.

Hola a todos, bienvenidos a la semana de música retro #13. Feliz nuevo mes amigos, confío en que todos estemos bien. Esta semana haría un cover de un clásico de principios de los 80 de la cantautora y actriz estadounidense Cyndi Lauper llamado "Time after Time". La canción habla de lo que significa el amor verdadero, lo que significa amar incondicionalmente incluso cuando no está a nuestro favor. La canción explica una relación entre dos personas, no en su mejor estado por lo que poco a poco se van soltando por la falta de certeza entre ellos. No están quemando los puentes solo porque las cosas no salieron según lo planeado entre ellos, los sentimientos están ahí. Si alguna vez necesitas desesperadamente mi ayuda, o si estás en problemas... Estaré ahí para ti una y otra vez. El amor es algo hermoso, no siempre sale como queremos, pero no debería impedir que sigamos siendo buenos y amables con las personas con las que alguna vez tuvimos una relación. El amor no es solo un sentimiento, el amor es intencional... nunca es un estado continuo de buenos tiempos como se le hace creer a la mayoría de la gente. El amor es mucho trabajo, compromiso y disciplina. Las personas hacen los votos "para bien o para mal", pero tienden a irse cuando ya no les beneficia. Time after Time es un clásico increíble, estar ahí para las personas incluso cuando no estamos en los mejores términos.
