What was the point of the crypto summit?

This was relayed months ago, and nothing has changed.

Nothing has been said—no changes or news—just self-congratulatory remarks. Is this supposed to be an update that could make a difference for crypto holders? No decisions have been made.

It isn’t very reassuring to see them patting themselves on the back for nothing. What exactly are they congratulating themselves about?
