Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: My clever counter pick for a Frontier battle!

Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!
In this week's Community Engagement Challenge, I'll be talking about one of my most exciting battles from the Frontier format. After losing in a very, very long streak, I tried a different trick to dominate my enemy and successfully won the battle. I am sure you will not only learn from this battle but also enjoy it a lot. So stay tuned!🔥
First of all, I would like to tell the creators of this new Frontier format and the new players that this simple and easy looking format is actually full of different and difficult challenges. I must not have lost so many battles in a row in the last several months as I have lost in the last 2 weeks while playing this format. At one point, I started thinking that maybe this battle mode is not for me, but then a few days ago, after a short break, I tried it again with a fresh mind and different tricks and this time I was able to do much better than before and today I also earned my first daily rewards on it.
This is my battle from a few minutes ago today. I am trying to do something different and strong with these basic level one cards, although many previous attempts proved unsuccessful, but this time after seeing the Explosive Way in the rule set, I felt that if I want to take full advantage of this rule set, then it would be right to choose only those cards whose attack power is 2 or more because under this rule set, after every successful attack, 50% of that attack is transferred to the adjacent units of the target unit, which increases the damage caused by your attack and strengthens your position. So I chose Magic Archon for this battle because, among all the available Archons, it is the only one that increases the attacking power of the team. In the second step, I had to choose Magic Attackers but due to limited cards, I had to include a melee attacker in the team.
Although my team seemed weak in terms of numbers and even health from the beginning, but in the very first round, my team completely turned the situation on the battlefield by knocking out 2 cards of the enemy. One reason for this success was that my cards performed attacks first. If, for some reason, the enemy had had a chance to perform attacks first, then the situation might have changed because my cards already had very little health, because while selecting the team, my focus was more on attacking powers than health. These seemingly minor things can be the reason for your victory or defeat in a battle. I definitely do not support this idea of not focusing on health, but due to the limited available cards in the deck and difficult battle conditions, I felt it was right to focus more on attack power than health, and thankfully, this idea worked.
This Neutral HUMAN card, Great Bear Drui,d played the main role in this battle. Although the impact of all the other cards was also strong and accurate, this card had the most responsibility because it was on the frontline with the most health and the most diverse attacking powers and I felt from the beginning that if this card defended its position then it would be easier to dominate the enemy because there was not a single card behind it in the lineup that could withstand even two attacks from the enemy. And in my deck, there is no better card than this among the neutral cards, according to that I chose a good card whose performance was also great, so I would say that this card was really the hero of this battle due to which I was able to win this battle.
But teamwork has its own importance, and of course, due to the strong defending position of the frontline card, the rest of the cards also performed well, and even the team that looked stronger than mine in the beginning was dealt with in the second round itself without losing a single card. This is the power of a good team, and I am saying this because it is again accomplished by the cards selected from the same basic, level one deck of cards. That is why I always say that no matter how difficult a stage may seem and you may have failed there many times, but sometimes a break is also very important, after which if you look in the same direction again with a fresh mind, you find ways and you are surprised by your own performance even in the same conditions, with the same facilities/cards.
This is the link to the battle. I want you to check it out at least once because seeing every single action and retaliation in the battle, you can really enjoy it the most and you also get to learn something and I personally watch the battle links shared in these challenges.
