I hope you are all well. Today I'm here to talk to you about one of my favorite long-running anime series. It's a shonen anime, full of action, magic, battles, and conspiracies, but above all, it has a great story to tell and wonderful characters. Its name is Black Clover.
This story takes place in a world where magic is everything, and without it, you are nothing. A world divided between human kingdoms and the dimensional plane where demons live: the underworld. The story follows the life of Asta, a young orphan who has no magic, an anomaly in that world, but this fact does not affect his spirit. On the contrary, it motivates him to give his all to achieve his goal. His adoptive brother and rival, Yuno, has been a magical prodigy since he was young. Together they are a duo of brothers whose peaceful life will change as they get closer to their goal: to become the Wizard King, but only one will succeed.
Their path to the top of the magical world will become a dangerous and unprecedented adventure, facing other wizards, enemies, demons, and even each other, if they want to fulfill their dreams.
Asta is a brave, energetic young man with a strong will. Asta receives the five-leaf grimoire, a grimoire that is frowned upon, a symbol of forbidden magic: anti-magic, which has a demon sealed inside it. Asta's goal is to become the Wizard King, to catch up with and surpass Yuno, and to marry his sister Lily, a nun, an unlikely but amusing relationship.
The events take place in the Clover Kingdom, a prosperous kingdom ruled by the current Wizard King, Julius Novachrono. The Clover Kingdom has an order of knights from the magical elite destined to defend the kingdom. After selection tests, Asta ends up in the Black Bulls, an eccentric group of people considered the worst order of all, made up of outcasts, misfits, or those with unusual magic. Led by Yami Sukehiro, an eccentric and powerful foreigner (from a mysterious territory) who constantly breaks the rules and selects people because he sees something in them that no one else sees.
Yuno, on the other hand, ended up in one of the best orders, the prestigious Golden Dawn Order, commanded by William Vangeance. There are several parallels between Asta and Yuno that embody two common types of characters in shonen anime. Yuno “The Chosen One,” despite being an orphan, is born with exceptional magical talent, privileged from birth, intelligent and strong. It is strange that he is in an orphanage, as fate always seems to smile on him as the one destined to succeed. On the other hand, Asta embodies the other side of the coin, without privileges, without magic, embodying pure will, his existence going against everything established. Asta is the kind of protagonist who redesigns the world around him and carves his own path through sheer willpower and perseverance.
Both were found at the same time at the doors of the orphanage. The reason they were left there and their true origins are improbable and shrouded in light and darkness.
This world has a magical hierarchy that refers to a class system, where the magic you possess determines your place in the world.
The story is a classic shonen, Naruto-style, with character development, personal growth, and breaking the established order. Asta, who does not have magic like the others, undergoes constant evolution, not only in his aspirations but also personally. His strength and motivations grow as he sees the world, faces rivals, and discovers his origins. The magic system is rich and extensive, well connected and explained with grimoires, magical and demonic realms, elemental attributes, spirits, elves, and more.
The beginning may be a bit slow, but it progresses into something worth watching. The animation is not ideal at first, but it is acceptable and improves as the episodes progress. It also has quite a bit of comedy, due to the fact that the Black Bulls are all lunatics, yet they are very strong.
This is an extensive but well-developed story. The battles are very good, with explosive and well-organized fight sequences, where magic, fists, and magical weapons predominate. It has several very good story arcs, such as the attack by the Midnight Eye organization and the subsequent discovery of an ancient conspiracy, the battle against the demon Zangred, and the subsequent invasions of the Clover Kingdom. This makes it a long anime, with four seasons and a fifth already announced.

Espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy les vengo a hablar de uno de mis animes largos favoritos. Este es un anime shonen, lleno de acción, magia, batallas y conspiraciones, pero sobre todo con una gran historia que contar y buenos personajes. Su nombre es: Black Clover.
Esta historia se desarrolla en un mundo donde la magia lo es todo y sin ella, no eres nada. Un mundo dividido entre reinos humanos y el plano dimensional donde habitan los demonios: El inframundo. La historia sigue la vida de Asta, un joven huérfano, que no posee nada de magia, una anomalía para ese mundo, pero este hecho no afecta su ánimo. Por el contrario, lo motiva a dar todo de sí, para lograr su objetivo. Su hermano adoptivo y rival, Yuno, es un prodigio mágico desde joven. Juntos son un dúo de hermanos, cuya pacífica vida cambiará a medida que se acercan a su objetivo: convertirse en Rey Mago, pero solo uno lo logrará.
Su camino a la cima del mundo mágico se convertirá en una aventura peligrosa y sin precedentes, enfrentándose a otros magos, enemigos, demonios e incluso contra el otro, si quieren cumplir sus sueños.
Asta es un joven valiente, enérgico y con una voluntad fuerte. Asta recibe el grimorio de cinco hojas, un grimorio mal visto, símbolo de magia prohibida: la anti-magia y que tiene un demonio sellado dentro. El objetivo de Asta es ser Rey mago, alcanzar y superar a Yuno y casarse con la hermana Lily, una monja, relación improbable pero graciosa.
Los eventos suceden en el reino del trébol, un reino próspero, dirigido por el rey mago actual, Julius Novachrono. El Reino del trébol posee una orden de caballeros de la elite mágica destinados a defender el reino. Tras pruebas de selección, Asta termina en los Toros negros, un grupo excéntrico de personas, considerados como la peor orden de todas, conformado por marginados, inadaptados o con magias poco usuales. Liderado por Yami Sukehiro, un excéntrico y poderoso extranjero (de un territorio misterioso), que rompe las normas constantemente y cuyas personas selecciona es porque ve en ellas, algo que nadie más ve.
Yuno, por el contrario, terminó en una de las mejores órdenes, la prestigiosa orden del amanecer Dorado, comandada por William Vangeance. Hay varios paralelismos entre Asta y Yuno que encarnan a dos tipos de personajes comunes en los animes shonen. Yuno “El elegido”, a pesar de ser huérfano, nace con un talento mágico excepcional, privilegiado desde su nacimiento, inteligente y fuerte, es extraño que esté en un orfanato, el destino parece siempre sonreírle como el destinado a triunfar, por otro lado, Asta reencarna la otra cara de la moneda, sin privilegios, sin magia, encarna la voluntad pura, su existencia va en contra de todo lo establecido. Asta es ese tipo de protagonista que rediseña el mundo a su alrededor y que a pura fuerza de voluntad y constancia se labra su propio camino.
Ambos fueron encontrados al mismo tiempo en las puertas del orfanato. La razón por la que fueron dejados ahí y sus verdaderos orígenes, son improbables y rodeados de luz y oscuridad.
Este mundo posee una jerarquía mágica que hace de referencia a un sistema de clases, donde la magia que posees determina tu lugar en el mundo.
La historia es un shonen clásico, estilo Naruto, con evolución de personajes, superación personal y ruptura del orden preestablecido. Asta, quien no tiene magia como los demás, experimenta una evolución constante, no solo en sus aspiraciones, sino también personal. Su fuerza y motivaciones crecen, a medida que ve el mundo y se enfrenta a rivales y descubre su origen. El sistema mágico es rico y extenso, bien conectado y explicado con grimorios, reinos mágicos y demoniacos, atributos elementales, espíritus, elfos y demás.
El inicio sí puede ser algo lento, pero avanza en algo que vale la pena ver. La animación no es la ideal al principio, pero es aceptable y mejora al pasar los episodios. También tiene bastante comedia, debido a que los toros negros son todos unos lunáticos, aun así son muy fuertes.
Esta es una historia extensa, pero bien desarrollada. Las batallas son muy buenas, con secuencias de peleas explosivas y bien organizadas, donde predomina la magia, los puños y las armas mágicas. Tiene varios arcos muy buenos como el ataque de la organización del ojo de medianoche y la posterior conspiración ancestral descubierta, la batalla contra el demonio Zangred así como las posteriores invasiones al reino del trébol. Lo que hace que sea un anime largo, con cuatro temporadas y una quinta ya anunciada.
