Nespresso and Dolce Gusto single serve coffee and espresso machines are both quick and easy to use when you need a cup of coffee or espresso. Both have water tanks attached to the machine, removable drip trays, and proprietary pods. The operation of brewing with each one is a little bit different, but both have one or two button operations.

When it comes to brewing, the Nespresso machine does not have the ability to do a cold brew, while the Dolce Gusto machine does. The Nespresso machine has one button for brewing, while the Dolce Gusto machine has two. The Dolce Gusto machine also has an LCD screen and a bar indicator on the pod that tells you how to set the machine for brewing.

The espresso shots from both machines are comparable, with the Dolce Gusto machine having the ability to adjust the quantity of water.
